....don't run pirated games through the official client...JFC. go to where you unzipped it and run it directly...

Edit: FYI, yes, you will see this site often link to the official places to buy the game properly, that doesn't change the game here is pirated. You run it from its base, not out of a client. The links to the official and to the devs are so you can support them if you feel like the game deserves the support. Lots of games lately are over priced and have garbage/preditory practices. Excluding the many indie devs that tend to use this site to drum up visibility and attention to their projects, this site is mostly for you to decide if games are really worth the price or not. Do support games you really enjoy and like, but again, don't confuse official products through say steam or other clients, the games you get on this site are generally stand alone.

Even after following the tutorial I'm still being redirected to the steam page, and I can't see any way I shagged up any of the steps. Right app id as well

I checked the assembly, and patched the file. Now it works.

For Windows: Unzip copy and paste in "HuniePop 2 - Double Date_Data\Managed\"
For MAC: Unzip copy and paste in "HuniePop 2 - Double Date.app\Contents\Resources\Data\Managed\"
