How do you start with Kathrin? I know you're supposed to call her to the empty motel room, but I don't have her number and there isn't an option to call reception in the room.

considering he's just released an update, don't know who's going around marking things abandonned cause the don't know where to talk to devs. second game from TFGamesite I've seen done like this and one dev was active here and for some reason, their game got marked abandonned and they decided to say fuck F95 and instead of providing updates here making things easier, they won't be along side every modder for the game. Granted that game hasn't seen in update in awhile but they are active.

Its a manual process, I think there are some rules on it somewhere, I think any thread that hasn't recived an update in 3 months will be marked as abandoned if a user reports it. I've reported threads in the past and requested a few games be marked as abandoned, but I wouldn't do that with out checking patreon/discord. I'd only so it for games I'm interested in.

Realistically what does it matter if the game gets marked as abandoned.

Overview:
Hunter one day receives a package from his dead uncle. In there he finds a mysterious book of magic spells, the first of which allows him to magically hypnotize and enslave the people around him. In further studies of the book, he will discover a way to change the people around him even more, including their gender. He will encounter mysterious figures and learn dangerous secrets about a mad medieval wizard, his dead uncle, and his presumably dead father.

Worth noting that the "posts anything related to the game" means anywhere, not just on F95.
If they have not released an update in 3 years but are still posting a monthly "we are still working on it" on patreon or on discord then it won't get abandoned tag.
it is a manual process though and mistakes do happen. if you see a mistake just report it

Has anybody figured out how you can cast spells on Joe? I tried waiting in the Back Alley and just passed one hour at a time, but I didn't see him appear during that time. He told me he lives above the bar, and he even invited me up there, but there seems to be no access to his apartment's front door.

You have to go in the bar and buy a round of drinks to get him drunk and then follow him out to the alley... he needs to be drunk so you can use your spell on him, then later you can go to his house

That isn't Joe. Joe is the bar owner. The one you are talking about is Brian(?). He was turned a long time ago.

Ok, I was able to finally find him throughout Main Street and kept pumping him with Magic each day and got him to finally transform. Now, Claudia is another story. I seem to be getting an error when I try to talk with her. Never stopped, just looks like someone went and threw abandoned tags on games that haven't updated in awhile without actually checking into it. As for the process, there is one but it doesn't stop uploaders/mods/staff from throwing a tag on something very much like I had the power to remove it.

I just got that bit and it explicitly told me to go look her up online.

... I did. and then I printed a picture. and then I went back to her and trying to interact with her gave me this error
