I agree wholeheartedly with your post, but I want to call out this section:
Corrupting Brittany was hot as fuck, especially with all the "disrespectful" dirty talk in the bathroom. The idea of targeting the married women is fantastic! This game is already phenomenal, but that would push it into the stratosphere.

Also a bit of the dev being passive aggressively annoyed at the Laura arc backlash
Might want to hold off on the patreon support til October, dev is taking the month off of hypnosis to work on another game.

Interesting read that by the dev and let me put first that I have not played the game yet, so I may be wrong in some of my assumptions based on remarks and that text. Well first and main plus is it seems dev at least also have thought about what he did and got that it was not perfect and that as a new dev he may have not done a perfect thing. Guess he got caught in both a bit his own feelings on a certain subject, wanting some sort of drama and wanting to turn situation around a bit to show it is not all good what happened in game and forgetting in that the overall tone of his game until then. Well he is not the first and will not be the last to do that.Just
Figured I'd bump this response for those who haven't seen it; I hadn't til after my earlier post. It's worth a read, if you love the potential in this game. As said by others, thanks for participating on F95. I don't agree with everything you wrote, but I do understand where you're coming from, and reading that did actually help me understand some choices that seemed unusual.
My favorite thing about the game is the dialogue, I'd totally go out for beers with MC or Corey; it really brings back memories of wild nights and hungover mornings. 18 to 20-something year olds aren't the smartest folks around to begin with, and when you add alcohol, a mysterious mind-altering power, and a bunch of hormones to the mix, is it really that unbelievable that one chose a bathroom drawer as a stash spot in a pinch? As a heavy partier, I can attest to the pitfalls of trying to find a stash spot during the middle of a party. You learn from your failures. You know where MC won't hide shit again? That's right, in a bathroom drawer
Still I do get that quite a few fans, especially the ones that played a nicer guy that were more or less helping out the girls in their choices already and got some nice bonusses for that, got as a reward more or less unavoidably raped by a character in game for their being a nice and slightly naive guy. Yeah I can get being butthurt over that.
Basically there, by putting it unavoidably on all paths, he was not turning the tables anymore and challenging peoples perception and what is acceptable (What MC does is def in the gray area but specifically not done as full mindcontrol and rape by dev, while Laura is using the full capabilities of the watch and goes full control, quite the escalation to show what MC is doing might not be exactly a good thing. ), but punishing people on purpose without warning and with something that can hit some serious trauma's those who played it were not aware of they would run into even if that was not his intention as such. (Now that challenging perception bit is something you will already get enough hate over anyway, it is not for nothing we all get good at little white lies and not telling the whole truth to keep from hurting people unneeded, we do not wish to be always seeing all our truths about ourselves. )

It is the drama and what it implied that kept me from playing, but was watching for what really happened to see if could play it anyway or better to stay away.
