As it seems the new version has been released for 10$ patrons a few days ago (on Friday), so now we are waiting for someone of lower (5$) tiers to hopefully share it here (they're gonna get this version in 4-5 days).

If the dev doesn't like the fact it was shared, they can simply turn it off. Happens all the time.
It's already highly compressed. He had added over a 1gb of images and compressed it himself down to about 250-300mb. It's in the changelog, too.

I've just tested EP 3 v002 with 3 different links, extracted them and played all 3. The NOPY, ZIPPY, and UploadHaven links all work for me.
