Damn, I didn't know the source meterial was abandoned by the author. Seems many zombie series coming out of Japan face this fate like High School of the Dead. Guess I will need to wait for a translation of that OG VN that has tentacle zombies, or get enough Japanese down to start reading it.

is this final game or another end for novel ?
Edit : oh i didnt read the novel too much so idk it was abandoned , i though the author abandon writing wn cuz they colabs with game dev but its not ? he just vanish ? if the dev make the ending then basically author doesnt have contact with the dev that mean he didnt get royalty for the game ?

Because if this is all we will ever gonna get, ngl you might not even start with this series if you are not already invested into it. Which saddens me to no end to say. It did have potential in spades - espcially for something as overused as a zombie story.

Edit: really wish i didnt read this series if they end it this badly. i knew it wasnt gonna continue since no source material but at least make it make sense not this mess did they really just forget the dctor exist?

"Abandoned" and "Ongoing with no updates" are pretty much the same thing with literatures. The author went under the radar since 2017 with ch 60/vol 3 being the latest release. The chance of them to continue working on the series are pretty much near zero. It is not clear whether the author were directly involved with the development of the VNs, but even with trilogy of VNs and extra Volume, there's haven't been any news about any updates for the WN and/or VN, from the author and/or the game dev

We got our uncensored ENG TL recently thanks to Denpa and Sekaiproject, but the JP Vol 3 adaptation of the game has been out since '18, if they were working / wanted to make Vol 4, there should at least be news right now

Though if you look at it with a more positive way, the English release might bring more fans to the series and encourage the devs and author to make more

Kinda wish I didn't play this.

I felt something was off the entire volume, and now after learning that the author abandoned this series... it makes sense.
Should have gone more sex appeal than story, since they were obviously lacking in the latter.

If i just take the credits on vndb at face value the author of the WN / LN seemed to be invloved with vol. 1 and 2 only, but maybe those were just the usual "original creator credits"? Not sure, tbh. But it's still weird seeing them missing form vol. 0 and 3. Anyway i just do not get my hopes up for more then, seems to be the best way of going about it.

When I found a rare nice adventure VN, the author just take money and gone disappear with unfinished story.

Does this game only have just that one extra story in the additional scenes sections from the title menu?
