Usually with these games if the 'childhood friend' is living in the same house, it's the sister. Landlady is mother. Landlady's good friend is the aunt.

Anyone know what the ETA on the next update is and how regularly this dev releases updates? I don't know if I should start playing now, or wait a bit.

nah she doesn't have the usual "landlady and roomate" type stuff and she doesn't live in the same house, however she and the mc grew up together and u can choose her relation at the start so i was wondering if she's meant to be something specific or if it's vague on purpose.
