Damn just realized the music used when savannah and mc were trying to run away from umber is replaced by a worse one. I loved that music...

Yeah I really liked that song too... I've been trying to replace some of the music with my own to reduce the amount of reliance on third parties, but some of it may not hit the same. I'll probably run a poll on Patreon to see which songs people prefer best.

The developer must hate the main character. He always wears a backpack, sunglasses, and a boring T-shirt. On the other hand, the female characters look like they've fallen from heaven.

I think most developers underestimate the main character. Games with charismatic, attractive, and articulate main characters have an advantage from the start.

Still, the game was great apart from the MC.

Agree. Games are not movies or novels. Players are not just viewers. They controle the main character and should be able to get attached to him at some level. I don't get why so many devs think people would like to play as betas, social incompetent and/or unattractive MCs that, if something, have a big cock. :cautious:

I always assume it's an author self insert

A visual novel isn't a novel?

I get that AVNs often blur the line between novel and game, and some devs seemingly go out of their way to make unlikable protagonists. But it's important to not forget that many AVNs function as a hybrid. It's not unreasonable for an AVN dev to give a protagonist a personality, including flaws, rather than leave them a blank self-insert slate.

Because some people actually do like to play that way.

There are all kinds of kinks that attract various people. That's why those kinks exist as tags, and why there are developers that include them in their games - because there are people out there who will play them and even pay money to do so.

You or I may (or may not, depending on the kink/tag) find it strange, but there are a lot of strange people out there. :ROFLMAO:

Personally it seems to me like some people get way too attached to the MCs. Some reminders that they are not literally you the player inserted in the game world isn't bad
