Just a heads-up to those of you downloading/installing official updates to HS2 directly from Illusion:
ScrewThisNoise has uncovered some pretty evil code (currently inactive) in Illusion's latest update for the game:
I'm sure many of you are running his repacks, and I personally backup everything before making any drastic changes to any software and always back-up my UserData folder.
Make sure you do the same, dudes, just to be safe. It'd suck to lose your entire card collection because some dev at Illusion has an axe to grind.

If only image wouldn't be as bugged as it is (doubled smudgy textures are probably the biggest issue).
Yo guys I have a question. I created a new group and as I was going to the hall, I suddenly got an option with a heart on every single room and a "mystery" girl with a red "?" as a card appeared out of nowhere.
Has anyone run into this? Are characters randomly added to your groups? Or maybe it's an easter egg? It's like she was in every room at once. Also she was kinda creepy lol.

This time I only DLed/extracted [ScrewThisNoise] HoneySelect 2 BetterRepack R2, put it into the Illusion folder in C Drive as usual, but first I took out; [MODDING] Tools, [OPTIONAL] BRExtras, [OPTIONAL] Mods, mods, & UserData folders in their entireties(I based that onthe advice of lifemare & panda12222222). Then ran HS2 via initsetting, this got me to group/create before it froze, after adding charas, then the other folders back in, after several tantrums & freeze-outs, I finally got it to play through initial sex(yay), after which I threw in the 100% save which thus far appears to have worked. I'm uncertain what's finally decided to work, but I'm assuming it's in part my fault, & partly to do with the [OPTIONAL][AI-HS2][20200601] Sideloader Modpack Studio D/L. I'm now glad I can play the game, though terrified of trying any mods until a later date, but thank you again to the folks that helped me.

The personalities are pretty boring compared to the first game, no yandere or even tsundere, I hope they add more in the future.

Hello, does anyone know how I could possibly put together a sequence of scenes in studio neo? I'm using the latest screwthisnoise repack with the optional mod pack, everything works fine in studio neo.
I want to define a sequence of scenes and times and play that sequence through in studio neo. Is there a plug in or something to allow that?
I've never used C# or unity before, but I know python and C++ really well and I'm not hesitant to learn unity and C# if that's what I gotta do...

I have this same problem. Escape Control does not appear to actually work or do anything
Anyone know how to keep/increase Hate status without just making the girl with it already and locking stats?
Edit: After some testing all I had to do was use skills that would cause pain and do nothing else. Went from Neutral to Hate in like 6-7 quick one skill sessions.

I have the opposite issue. I got the girls broken so fast that I couldn't replicate "Escape Event", with or without Escape Control.I have this same problem. Escape Control does not appear to actually work or do anything
You might want to check FAQ Section.
You can maintain the Hate Status by locking Broken Gauge (b/c Hate Points also contribute to Broken Status) & doing positions (a small number of them) rewarding the Hate Points.
Another method is to use Cheat Debug Menu (F12) to manipulate the stats. Unfortunately, you can't lock the stats besides the obvious ones (H/ Anal/ Pain/ Broken/ Dependency).

It loads fine, and i get the background and music, but the character models never seem to load? Any one know what to do here? Have been looking around, and can't find anyone reporting the same problem?
