One thing more about Lady Alaina, she joined the court much earlier than mother. When Cass was just born, she had already been a close friend with Cass's mother, the first queen. It is very likely that she somehow led to Cass's mother's death to save father and she invted our mother to the court to be the new queen afterwards. Cass said father believed those socerers too much but maybe the only socerer father listened to was Lady Alaina.

I think for a Steam release, he would need to remove the entire wincest storyline and the 'rapey' scenes. He'd have to change a significative part of the story just to transform the MC's sisters to his "childhood friends" and his Mom to his 'landlandy', Not to mention the potential bad exposure this game might receive.

Steam might not care, but others sites does. Thats why a lot of devs release the 'family friend' version of their game on Steam to avoid a negative exposure from the amount of new players that Steam brings.

After starting the game again I saw the fortune teller and her prophecy about the snakes is very specific if you kill Cass I think a lot of shit will happen in the future so it's good to play from the beginning sometimes we let important things pass or we don't even realize or maybe I'm wrong and paranoid lol

I did Bookworm my second playthrough and the extra Lia content is very nice. But Mage is my favorite playthrough and I like it because Elis has actual combat abilities with extra Elin affection. I don't want to be too weak in a fight.i choose not to finger Lia, i want to see how next future with her. good update but feels little bit short

not disagreeing with your three mostly alaina but it all up to interpretation could really be lot of people for each like its just as easy to say elin is snake that stretches into your cradle, conrad is dagger above the crown or wraps around throne, or any member of the council wrap around throne. its one of the things i hate about prophecy if it dont come right out and say who its about easy to point out people then author easy curve ball can put someone else as who it is

My only complain with the story so far is how MC interacts with the Queen. There's little to no seduction, eroticism or tension going on. He dismisses all her signals and acts like a stereotypical horny creep who has never touched a woman before. She's clearly a neglected dame in need and it would appear to me that MC life's mission is to put her completely off with his antics, which is both cringe and frustrating at the same time. The Queen seems to be one of the fan favorites judging by this thread, yet her story line has been one of the weakest thus far.

Kinda agree on this in retrospect. Especially her latest scene (which was gimped, unfortunately), It would be nice to get some more seductive scenes with the Queen Mother, like that romantic walk in the gardens early on in the story, where she is conflicted because of what she is starting to feel for her son - not because he is "not taking no for an answer".

I think that's kind of the point of taboo. She secretly wants it too but can't allow herself to enjoy it because of her morals. Yet, she doesn't reject him completely, which gives him the green light to go further with her. Trying to start a romantic path with such a woman is kind of pointless. He should corrupt her first, push her a little, and make her start thinking about it more and more.
She is his mother after all, not some available next door woman. She can keep her distance forever.
Once again: except some rushed scenes.
