I suspect it just means that they give more weight to the 18 month rule.

TBH, I don't really believe it's truly abandoned. I think Domiek would have said something if he was hanging up the cleats. He's kind of got bigger priorities at the moment with the behbeh. If and when he can come back, he'll come back.

It is 100% not, I've talked to him quite a bit. Like I said above, with Personal Trainer (he didn't like it in the state it was to sell on Steam) going to Steam, then having a newborn, holidays, plus IRL things going on, it's just been slow going.

I think you misunderstand. It's not so much "believing everything a dev says" as you say. It's more that it's beyond pointless to devote any mental real estate to bitching about development delays in an indie porn game. IMO, nothing I've seen on this site is more smooth-brained than that.

Besides... The dev has a newborn to worry about now as well as many family-related plans that are taking priority. Are you suggesting that you think he's lying about that?

I understand why indie mainstream devs just toil away for years and then release a finished game, often that took years and years. Sure there's much less financial support, but god it's gotta be better for their sanity.

Honestly, this and MNM getting the abandoned tag despite being on hold for less than 6 months is bullshit. Like, we know the extenuating circumstances for both devs and it's not like either have been sitting around milking. We know Dom had a kid and remastered an entire fucking game since the last update for this. We know K7's troubles, losing almost all of his assets, and bro is still making an entire prequel game with the two characters he still had just so his patrons can have something to play while he's waiting on getting his assets back. Like, I get the site rules, but then why let the games get the on hold tag in the first place? Scumbag move on the mods' part.

Hey guys, I appreciate the continued interest, support and of course the concern about the abandoned tag. However, I really don't blame the site or the mods for this at all. There hasn't been an update in 18 months and the rules are clear. This thread deserves the abandoned tag by all means.

For those who've followed me and know the circumstances, the tag doesn't change anything. For those who are new, it's a fair warning to be cautious. This site has a graveyard full of abandoned games, so hard rules about the abandoned tag are justified imo.

The game is still being developed. Gary's sexy ass isn't going anywhere.
