I think you misunderstand. It's not so much "believing everything a dev says" as you say. It's more that it's beyond pointless to devote any mental real estate to bitching about development delays in an indie porn game. IMO, nothing I've seen on this site is more smooth-brained than that.

Besides... The dev has a newborn to worry about now as well as many family-related plans that are taking priority. Are you suggesting that you think he's lying about that?

for all you know he doesn't even have a wife let alone any kids, what do you actually know about him? have you met him or seen his family? i'm not gonna say he's lying since i doubt he is but many devs have had the same story and i would be surprised if 0% of those devs lied just to bide time. its way better to be skeptical in life than gullible.

anyway the abandoned tag means nothing on this site and the odds this game never gets another update are pretty low, it just sucks its been 2 years since this is one of the few quality games that was in development in recent times, most adult games complete garbage these days.

While a certain amount of skepticism is warranted after numerous dev reports of 'mental health' this, 'family issues' that, one thing that can't be argued is when certain devs will halt accepting payments for a period when they know they will be unable to deliver on a promised schedule.

Yeah, I mean it doesn't really matter if it's delayed or not- I got to play a story that made me laugh and pop a boner for free and it was fantastic. Okay, let's play in the shitbox for a minute and say the dev was lying. Oh god, whatever will I do- I had fun and they took "free" out of my wallet. Does it break my heart that it may never get completed someday? Sure. Are there enough pixel tiddies for us on this site to supply and entire military with free jerk off material for at least a year?
