I noticed that too when I played it a while back, I either thought that she's either gotten pregnant or is now madly in love with the mc. I think it happened when I crossed the 60 mark. For now I assume it's a love icon thing, I'll check later if Mom something similar if I tell her she's the only one for me.

Really? Technically you only need $100 per day for your Mom, and you can do the bread delivery and flyer delivery every day for $85 per quest, so you already have what you need. Additionally you can sell lemonade at the beach for another $100, which adds up to $270 or $170 of pure gain. You also have the business woman quests, but I think you have to take the reward instead of the money to progress her "story", so this doesn't really count, but you also have the deliveries in the slums for some extra money, I'm not sure how much, but it should be around $150 or above per quest.
Last but not least (if I'm not mistaken, I haven't played the whole update) you can fight in the arena at night for 25-75. You need some gear first, but I bought some things and finished at least a few fights which could easily add up to around another $200. You need to grind a bit, if you do these things you shouldn't have any problems in the future.

I tried every time of the day, but it was also invisible, but it seems like it was still there or at least there was something blocking my way. After I did the "steal the car" job for the business woman it suddenly showed up for whatever reason though.

Did someone finish the delivery quests? I'm stuck on the I think 5th one with the package for the guy with the yellow hat. I found one guy with ??? above his head a little below the taxi, but all he says is "not now" all the time. I tried different times, even with 1hr differences by taking 1hr naps, but I still can't finish it :FeelsBadMan:
