Okay, now that I've played it I'll give some real comments.
I'll only touch on the face thing briefly, as it's been talked about more than enough and Dev Dob has already said he's gonna redo some of the existing shots after giving her a makeover. Some of the shots are pretty bad, but honestly some of them are okay. I think it's worst when she smiles big, which is unfortunate, but maybe that can help with what to change. I think it's mostly just that the features are too small for the head, and I suspect the head seems big because she's so skinny. Honestly, if there's a way to shrink the head and leave the face alone, that might do it.
On the visuals in general, I like the characters and the renders are well done. Interesting that (step? half?)-sister Tenika bears a resemblance to Inertia but her face is better put together. Dad's girlfriend, Jennifer is especially nice. Inertia herself is a bit skinny for my taste, but that's mostly a personal preference, not necessarily anything "wrong" with the model. Even though she's almost bony, I do like that you can see some muscle tone, since she's supposed to be a fitness expert.
Story/events, some of it is standards for the genre, guys want to put suntan lotion on her, photographers want to exploit the innocent, etc., but I like the dynamic with the siblings and Jennifer being wild and potential a trouble maker. Those character relationships feel a bit new and different, or at least we're seeing them from a different angle.
Waiting to see Inertia's new face, and overall looking forward to seeing more of the game.
Right now, Inertia doesn't seem to have a lot of personal agency (control over her own destiny). Granted, that was partly due to my choices as a player
, but that is something that has annoyed me recently in AVN's. Characters that don't speak up for themselves or others when they should or wait until it's too late to try and oppose an obvious threat. She already let two people get away with just groping her and did little more than say, "Heeey! You're not supposed to that! Boo!" I like that she did say she plans to deal with Dylan, and I hope she follows through on that. Characters can always try and still fail of course, but when they don't even try, it makes me crazy. Dylan gives me this vibe of being like the worst kind of AVN MC's. Spying on his sister, trying to push them into sexual situations, etc. It might be funny to see him try to do blatantly "MC-ish" stuff and have it back fire on him, with Inertia there to lay the smack down (although, now that I'm reading that back, it sounds a lot like Power Vacuum).
Also, blackmail is usually bullshit in these games. We've all done or failed to do things we regret, and half the world already has nude selfies on the internet. Unless a long hard prison sentence is at stake, I'm tired of seeing intelligent characters allow horrible things to happen so they can avoid minor embarrassment. So, I say if Dylan tries to pull some crap like that, Inertia should just shout to the room, "hey everybody, come look! My half-brother snuck around and took naked pictures of me! I look pretty good in them, but what a perv, am I right? So, nobody trust him or listen to him. Oh, and be sure to tell me what you think of nudes! Hah!"
If the plan is for this to be a corruption game, personally I'd like to see more of people slyly talking Inertia into things by making her decide she's actually curious to try stuff, rather than just tricking her, or even worse, the old "oh, well, people are touching my body and it feels good, so I guess I'm a whore now," or "yep, that's a giant dick that could seriously injure me, I guess I better jump on it while I've got the chance." Real people don't go around ignoring being raped just because they had an orgasm. Some might be confused, embarrassed, or extra traumatized by that aspect of it, but that does not somehow translate to them looking forward to it happening again. Then again, hey, it's porn, which is like 80% rape to begin with. So, you know, grain of salt with my advice.
Hard to be sure yet what level of immersion or depth of story you're going for in the future, Dev Dob, but my advice to that, based on observing other AVN's, is this:
if you are going to make it a "simple" story / fap-fest, than don't skimp on the fapping material.
If you are going to make it a slow-burn / gradual build up, than make sure there's enough interesting story to carry it.
If you have only a basic story and don't give enough fan-service, than you will end up with more hate-mail than followers.
Also, if you want to let followers have a say in what happens, I suggest you think of two to four options that you like and think would actually work for the story, and let people vote. That let's you keep better control over the project than just taking requests and trying to cram random ideas into the story somehow.
