My, bad A46, also found a few more. A lot of red text with the job offer at the Joker, some red text with Eve's birthday party, sorry can't give anymore info on that it's in that scene somewhere and not sure if a bug or not implemented but when you go through with the transformation with Rey all the scenes afterwards are still referring Rey as a guy not a girl. This is a fresh game on A46.

To clarify the Rey issue I could simply be missing a scene with the transformation. Is the last one in that chain using the serum on him or is there supposed to be another scene after that?

Question. Where are the saves located? When I try to save, I get 'Apologies! An error has occurred. You may be able to continue, but some parts may not work properly. Error: localStorage quota exceeded.'

I figure some folder where the saves are located is maxed, but what/where is the folder located?

This is what one of our coders just had to say about this:


The saves themselves are stored in the browsers local storage. Depending upon the browser depends on exactly where and how. That is most likely going to be some thing with the players computer that we have no control over


When you save to disk, the save file defaults to your downloads folder.



Let me know if that helps or not. And if we need to' we'll try to look into it further.

Contextually: I am allergic to tobacco. If I am exposed to tobacco or cigarette smoke, I will literally DIE. I know it's just a game, but including SMOKING as a game element literally ticks me off, even if it is "avoidable" and "optional."

I was looking forward to playing the latest updates to Inheritance, having enjoyed the previous version. But now, with this new toxic addition, of all the things I hate the most - inserting the option to smoke and promoting smoking is the WORST possible choice the DEV could have made.

I am deleting my saves, the older edition of the game, canceling my patreon support for the dev, and will never touch their existing or future games.

Sorry for "canceling" you, but this just goes too far. I can let the most atrocious sexual action slide, but smoking is just death to me.

As I said, this may tick off some people, even the dev, but I'm sick of people adding this suicidal activity to games. Regardless of "atmosphere" it has no place in gaming. Period.

For what it's worth, cigarette smoke will trigger an asthma attack with me nearly every time I come into contact with it. If I hadn't been commissioned to write the content, I probably never would have even thought about doing so.

The new smoking content in the game right now is about a 50/50 split between ambient scenes and the girls not reacting well to the smell to one degree or another.

I would like to note however that the game has actually had smoking content in one capacity or another almost since it's inception. Maki smokes, you encounter smokers in the bar in town, and there are a few other places in the setting where you encounter smokers in passing.

But as you said, it's your prerogative. I'm sorry to hear that you'll no longer be taking an interest in the game, may you find other games that bring you as much joy as Inheritance has until now.

It's fine. Can't make everyone happy. When it was added to the game. I figured 90% of everyone wouldn't care one way or the other, two thirds of what's left would like it, and the rest of them wouldn't. If a gas station in town selling cigarettes is a deal breaker for them, then it's a deal breaker for them. I try to include some realizm in my projects, thus why there's drinking, churches, and other things that don't appeal to everyone make appearances in the setting. If this is the linchpin that their morality stands upon, then I won't judge. Only time I've been offended over something said about this game is when someone wrote me an angry message demanding that Gaia's skin color be changed because she turned the player off. This doesn't even register on the same scale.

I mean, that's so tame! A catholic prude might balk at smoking, but since do porn players do that? I was already watching movies with [some] smoking when I was 9 (though I may be biased, as I started playing porn games two years later...)

That bothers me far less than the fact the poster felt the need to post that message in more than one location. We addressed their post here, so I found it rather tacky that they felt the need to post it elsewhere as well. Guess they felt the need for the world to know how they felt about the subject.

I'm surprised a bit about the smoking topic as well honestly. There's going to be options that will literally lead to your maids death by your own hands if your evil enough (Unless Aftermath changed that? I remember reading about it somewhere a while back) and smoking is where they draw the line? Oh well, everyone's got opinions.


The second Aftermath starts adding more "Be a monster to Eve" scenes is the day I'm gonna....start crying, eat some ice cream, play hide and seek with Eve for hours while ignoring how anyone can be such a monster to her and keep on paying him cause I love this game.

Mitsuko isn't among the diaries, but you're right that some of those are pretty harsh. Of anything I figured that those would be what puts players off, and I know some people avoid reading them just because of that.

I appreciate the hard work. I know it's not an easy task. Lots of stuff happening in the background. Worked previously as QA and I knew just the testing phase alone is hell, how much more from the dev side. Just want to point out there are far more horrors the game hides than simple stuff, like smoking. Cheers!

To be honest, it was mine too lol. I hope you make a unique dialogue with it too. It would be nice to read about her blushing when you call her that. (Or turn pale in absolute dread and fear if you're being a total monster, you monster!)
