the updates out already or you just asking if it is or not?Does somebody have the game folder?
no tf we do NOT make it a general tukada thread, we make a new thread for the new game after we have a solid releaseMaybe but also at this point I feel like maybe make this one into a general Tukada thread if we are like able to change the name or smth yk what I mean
Short answer:If anyone's wondering what's actually going on...
The author's using generative AI to attempt to write the dialogue for all the girls. He may be using it in other areas too, but I can't be sure of that. What I am sure of is that he has been repeatedly running the AI write all of the dialogue in hopes that it will magically come out perfectly, but it won't cooperate, and this would be why he's repeatedly missing his self-set deadlines. He doesn't want to write the dialogue himself, so he just runs the prompts repeatedly hoping that it'll be correct next time. He keeps promising that he's close to "fixing" the problems, but he's supposedly "fixed" it multiple times in the past few months with no results.
I was initially really wary of this project months ago when he was enthusiastically calling the AI dialogue "lifelike" and such. The results have been entirely predictable.
I am still struggling to adjust the thinking function.
It is important to make the psychological mechanism of the girls as simple as possible and as realistic as possible in order to make them move in an ideal way that makes them feel the will.
But it is easier said than done. It is very difficult to adjust.
It's very difficult to adjust the huge number of parameters and to eliminate bugs that are the bottleneck of the system.
About the new thinking function
I took a break from debugging the beta version for a while and was experimenting with how to get Girls to do its job better.
Rather than mixing up instinct and reason, I changed it to a system in which reason monitors instinct.
The goal is to shorten learning time and increase accuracy at the same time by separating the brain into instinct and reason and making them separate.
It is still being coded, but at least it should work reliably.
Fixing the thinking function
For now, it works on its own as well as it did before prototype ver.3.
The accuracy during sex is also higher than before because the bugs are gone.
However, this time they have completely lost their rationality, so they are now moving according to their desires.
They eat when they are hungry, sleep when they are sleepy, and play when they want to play. They will not listen to onegai and will not go to work.
As soon as they get to know each other, they will take you to their homes and invite you to have sex with them.
The only thing left to do is to implement the thinking function, but I failed on the second learning, and are now trying on the third learning.
The game is too large and very time consuming to learn.
This week, I completed the thought training of my first character and have finally stabilized my movement in the world.
I had prepared a video of a working squid maid's normal day to day movements, but didn't get it done in time...
Actually, the game itself was completed once on July 30th, two weeks ago.
However, there were still many instances where the characters were behaving in ways that didn’t feel true to the original work, so I decided to postpone the release.
To address this, I’ve been continuously adjusting the characterizations of each character, which has been taking a significant amount of time because I have to re-train their thought processes each time.
Even as a beta version, I wanted the characters to move in a sufficiently cute manner. And above all, I wanted to create a truly outstanding work. With this belief in mind, I added and refined dialogue, visuals, and animations.

He is borderline obsessed with trying to make squid girls that are alive. The squid chat was chatgpt based but that didn't pan out. He's gonna continue until he finds a middle ground he's happy with. I believe he's already restricted your chat to emojis or cards so he doesn't have to account for infinite responses but he still wants them to be cute.If anyone's wondering what's actually going on...

This mf right now:Short answer:
Wrong AI being blamed, I think he's been working on an experimental machine learning system that has been taking up time.
Long answer:
So Squid Massage 3D was built upon the concept of 'Squid Chat Prototype', which was a game where you connect to ChatGPT and roleplay with it, basically. However, production was cancelled because its existence violates the rules.
TUKADA then decided to create something new based on this concept. At first, he considered just IMPLEMENTING AN ENTIRE LOCAL CHAT MODEL INTO A 3D GAME,

but that was unpractical, so he decided to instead have AI generate dialogue for him, which he then supervised the implementation of.

He then began work on an experimental system. A system that essentially allows the AI to roam around on their own in the city.

TLDR
It seems like this reasoning system is what's taking up development time. If it were up to me, I'd just use a fixed 'schedule system' like every other RPG game (Persona, Bethesda games, Stardew Valley, Red Dead Redemption 2, STALKER, etc) but this isn't the realism TUKADA wanted to achieve, so...
As for the dialogue: (note that some of these could just be about this reasoning system instead)
