Nah. Updates on this game have always been spaced out quite a bit, even in the begining. I'd say to only deem it abandoned if the dev communicates quitting. :)
No I said that as in, I was questioning why he thought it was abandoned. He recently posted it was alive on hypnopics

Have anybody skilled in coding thought about modding this game? I love pCaine's work, but waiting 1 to 2 years between the updates for, in my opinion, one of the best porn games, is killing me. Anyone's up for the task?
To my knowledge, it is all done in Twine, so as long as you have some kind of Twine experience, then it would work, however I feel that it is more the case that people don't want to start "stealing" pCaine's work has he has not abandoned the project, per se.

I was actually inspired not too long ago by this game, and a few others, to start learning Twine and a bit of HTML/CSS/etc. to make a game somewhat like IB. Like's already been said stealing wouldn't be very cool and no one would want to take over if a game's creator hasn't definitively abandoned it, but I think inspiration/homage is fine. I've got the skeleton of a game done. Not ready to be released at all but it'll come.

The big thing I'd say is that you really don't need much experience to get going with Twine at all, and there are a bunch of helpful posts and youtube videos out there about how to get into it. So if anyone else feels the urge and has the spark of an idea, go for it.

Let me know when you upload it; I'm curious of this homage.

Well, at least they gave a ending to the first part of the game, still, i hope they continue this game someday.

Game isn't abandoned. Although I understand the sentiment, it's actually pretty disheartening to read things like "if" an update is posted given the portion of the little free time I have to work on it. It won't stop me writing and, at some point, releasing it though.

It's one thing if it's your "day job" and another if it's a passion project. I'm in the same boat with a translation I've been working on for a game. 20 minutes here and there does not much progress make. But, in the end, you have to take care of your own sanity because no one else will.

Still, looking forward to the next update when you get it ready! :)

Gotta say that you have done an excellent job with this game so far and the fact that you are continuing to work on it after all this time is great to see. don't burn yourself out and just release your update when you think its ready

I'm truly looking forward to your next release, but I don't mind waiting. It's unfortunate that you can't change the abandoned tag into on hold so clear up the misunderstanding of some people, but that's site limitations, nothing we can do about that.
Really happy that you're still working on it!
