I often see amateur devs (like usual, amateur does not refer to skill but means non professional) do such remastering because those among them who work at regular pace on their project gain experience fast in their first years working on it (the first two or three years).
Not to mention, they may have bought better hardware in the meantime (the dev here did)...
They end up thinking that the beginning of their game no longer compares to the latest additions.
Not only with renders but also coding quality.

The dev also wants to make the game available to players not necessarily used to come here : he spoke to publish the game on Steam for that purpose and made the remastering for new players who have to play from the beginning!!!
The dev said he think the first updates are no more in enough a quality when compared with the last ones...
As a subscriber, this does not bother me and those, among subscribers, who are bothered by such a decision can simply unsubscribe and come back later if they wish.

Yes dev should follow people like me because majority will think like me, honest feedbacks. But there are always someone like you who defends bullshit decisions. But Dev probably thinks making very slow progress is better to milking the backers because if he makes MC total slut faster, he thinks game will lose interest, thats it.
This is very wrong idea. You can look at successful and very populer adult games here for feedback. Project Myriam and Anna for example, very popular and MC being total slut almost in the beginning is actually increased the interest for the game, not decreased it.
Everybody wants more content with Jennifer being total slut, that's it. Because unlike you, most people play this for fapping, because it is a porn game, not playing it like some AAA games seriousness.

Yes, the dev is now making a remastering.
From his patreon page, he said he started it the end of july and he said it will last 2 months.
As far as I know, he is working on V0.07 remastering content out of V0.08. Close to the end, it seems...

Plot, plot, plot development. Like in last comment russian friend said, this is the most important thing for a game like this.
This is a visual novel. and a porn game. So if graphics are ok, then what you need is one hell of a content, many many pictures/anim clips. Because unlike normal games, there are almost no/very few gameplay elements. And stories won't finish either. you shouldn't worry about like if you implement lots of things early on. you can always produce more.
First thing first game development. After you reached some development stage, you might focus on remastering some early pictures along with working on regular updates. But 4 updates in a year is not that a dev process, especially if contents are too shorts.
I define success combined with popularity and income. Income doesn't have to be too high if it covers all your costs and make a profit(if you are 1 person or 2 3 indie studio). Because if you gain popularity, it will eventually gain money sooner or later. I have been a game dev myself, those backers might dissappear all of a sudden if you are lazy.
you have simplier logic like high income always better and successful. If other 2 games are gaining less, why are they updating more frequently produce more content and making more longer updates ? This means they have enough income to make them motivated , go forward and produce more.
IoM has better female models, more sexy characters. Anna is sexy yes but Jen is way better. And her sister and Nina are no less than Jen.
With these are in hand, IoM should be way much popular or at least equal. And how do you define people showing the game low interest? Why they are not interested like with other two games ? why this topic doesnt have hundreds pages ?
Because developer of the game grinding it, putting little honey in people's mouth every time, producing very less contents. MC's first fuck is 2 years after the game's first release. So people do the math.
Obviously... But being a subscriber is enough a reason for me to defend the game... I do not need you to tell me what to do...

As a dev, you forgot the KISS principle (Keep It Simple ans Stupid) when telling your definition of "successful".
Mine is simple : more successful is more popular. And most popular is the game with most subscribers.
Subscribers are people that show enough trust and find the game promising enough to give money (this game does not have 1600 subscribers just once when release but ALWAYS)
I do not care about income because it is not relevant (Get enough income depends the place you live in : too complex to be used here) and last but not least : we do not know the values !... I only count the number of subscribers, i.e people "gathering around" a game.
What I highlighted with my definition of successfull, is you said the two games are more successfull (more popular) despite having less subscribers : Whether you deny or not, the two games you provided gather less people...
Btw, imagine developers have to choose which of their thread page count or subscriber number is set to 1 while the other number is set to 2000 (for example), which one do you think they will choose to be set to 1 ?

Had to delete and change my position on this VN. I hadn't finished it and I prefer to review VN's after 100%. I also allowed my biases for what I wanted to see a character do to interfere with what the developer gave us so far, no matter what our wishes, the developers are giving us their vision and I think we should judge the VN's on what the vision is. Anyway having said that onto the review.
Review
This VN is very professionally done, I encountered no errors or glitches on my playthrough. At least in the English version it looks like it has been spell and grammar checked and I did not encounter any noticeable errors.
This is a VN, it is NOT a game, you do make choices but those choices only seem to close off possible scenarios. For instance their is a scene in the park that has her sister losing something precious if you choose yes she loses it and you see the results, choose NO and it ends that storyline. So if your looking for multiple paths, endings and having a dozen different scenarios, look elsewhere. It is a story.
Art design and animations are really well done, multiple viewing angles on important scenes was greatly appreciated. The MC and her sister look amazing plus most of the other characters. Even the old man looks like a youthful old man and not a haggard mummy. Some models could be better in my opinion, any scene with Sylvia in it I skipped the model is not very attractive imo, I'm not sure what it is as I have seen that model used in other VN's and in this one something seems to be off in the renders, Eve is another one of the less attractive models but to each their own, you may love the renders.
The story is OK to Good, most of the story worked, Anything with Jenn, her sister or Nina was damn good. Cass, Lin, Vicky and Rose were good they were well developed characters that help move the story along. Their motivations are understandable and fairly realistic.
The Sylvia, Eve love triangle just doesn't work in my opinion. There are a lot of wasted renders on overdrawn jokes where the humor just doesn't land. Comedy is subjective and maybe they landed better for others. Even so I feel a lot of render time could have been saved if the joke renders were shortened or eliminated and the main characters were more developed instead.
This is a Great effort and well done with a Good story, that hopefully has a great story update on the way. So what do I rate this game? It is not a 4 or 5 in my opinion BUT 3 is unfair as it is much better than that. I feel it deserves a 3.75 to 3.8 as of today. As I can't rate it that way I'm going to be generous and rate it a 4. I think it's the most fair option and I think it has potential, I would recommend this to lovers of corruption games like myself.
