Middle of next year, I'm assuming, based on the fact they are remastering first part and that'll take the rest of this year, with updates being between four to five months apart there after. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

According to his Patreon page, the dev makes a remastering because he is preparing a Steam version of season 1. On Steam, unlike us here, there are players that never played the game and have to start from beginning.
Therefore, it is understandable to want to improve the content graphic quality from first updates (compared to last updates) because the game is more than two years old.

I often see amateur devs (like usual, amateur does not refer to skill but means non professional) do such remastering because those among them who work at regular pace on their project gain experience fast in their first years working on it (the first two or three years).
Not to mention, they may have bought better hardware in the meantime (the dev here did)...
They end up thinking that the beginning of their game no longer compares to the latest additions.
Not only with renders but also coding quality.

The dev also wants to make the game available to players not necessarily used to come here : he spoke to publish the game on Steam for that purpose and made the remastering for new players who have to play from the beginning!!!
The dev said he think the first updates are no more in enough a quality when compared with the last ones...
As a subscriber, this does not bother me and those, among subscribers, who are bothered by such a decision can simply unsubscribe and come back later if they wish.

I really want the focus to be on Jennifer as there as are so many angles the story can take now. She is now more open, not that shy and can take the route of more money through fame or even if not fame, earning a lot at the side without many people knowing. That way it won't be she is getting laid by everyone, but as per her wishes to fulfill her desires.

MC is indeed more open to new experiences now (I never saw her shy, rather unconfident though) but she still holds a very strong feeling of guilt towards her boyfriend which could still be a hindrance. She still may not willingly go for sex by herself, imho and needs to be "convinced" by arousing her.
Male side characters (landlord and coffee shop owner) still have work to do on her to make her lose this feeling
