Witch Trainer and Princess trainer is just mud(scribble) when compared to Innocent Witches. Just launch them now and play. You'll immediately understand what I mean. They were good at the time. It's like comparing Witcher 1 with the Witcher 3.
Therefore, I'm for a large-scale IW, for a huge and saturated world of the game, and not for a 3-hour game.

Sure, IW backdrops are superior by FAR. No one is argue about that. But that is not the most important element of the genre, obviously. CG in thouse games are still decent even in comparison btw.

This guys attempted to improve gameplay by adding adventure-elements and that's actually admirable but in the end of the day most players just got pissed and used various solutions/guides to get through, judging by reviews. And the writing... Akabur wrote a lot of fun, entertaining lines even if it was often silly/ridiculous while in this game writing is pretencious as fuck but not engaging at all except for some rare moments which is not enough. And again, many if not the most players just skipping that through so what's the point?

And about scale - Joe said that his plan is to finish the game by the end of 2020 (I'd say that's fabulously optimistic but who am I to judge?). Sure, there will be some new locations but that's probably it. What's more you want from this game is a mystery for me.

huge and saturated? Where? There are basically 2 main locations. There is what, 10 characters you can talk with? From that right now just MC and 4 girls are even close to having meaningful characters.

I dont know where you found the stupid and not interesting text. I play with a Ru translation and everything is great with the story in it. I was even surprised how well everything was written. And this is perhaps the only game where I didnt skipped dialogues. I think this is due precisely to the fact that the game was translated into English and perhaps not very well. Therefore, you arent interested.
In the games of Akabur, I almost always skipped the dialogs, because it was more perceived as a fairy tale at night. (Perhaps due to the fact that he tried better on the English translation)
I hope that they will extend the development of the game and make fullscale Hogwarts with surrounding territories and possibly more.

I've been trying to get past chapter 4 for a while. I have collected all the prefects' panties by using Minerva to get in the dorms. This was the point I rage quit the game, after running through the quest 3 times it was too frustrating. After seeing the walkthrough video for the quest I realised just how tedious and badly scripted the event was.

Basically lookup the youtube video and follow it to a tee right from starting on the right day, don't do any other quests or dialogues not in the video for the whole week.

That's why we have menu skip options. There are edits coming in for the entire game, but the focus on new content. I wish I was superman and could just deliver everything all at once... sadly I can't.

When someone said it was hugely optimistic that the game will be done end of 2020, that's the main plot and writing and most the locations/stuff for the engine. It will probably be another year before everything is fleshed out after that for the game to have all scenes complete with all girls.

Lastly, I have to set a hard stop date for my involvement in the game. I enjoy doing it for now, that will eventually end, the quality will go down and everyone will hate me. I don't want that to happen. So, exit plans. Exit strategy, having hard end dates to push people to get the game completed.

I mean, you're not as bad as the Skyrim modders that track patreon releases. "Hey, I moved this armor from this game, to this game. That'll be 20 bucks. No sharing!"

But still, I think this was a bad decision given how most people feel about your game currently anyway: cracking down is often seen as a jerk move used to increase revenues, so people will pile it on to their list of transgressions.

People leaking bugged releases when I ask politely not to is the cause of this. If we see a revenue dip from just "tracking" who's downloading a release, that would be odd. (Also, from a technical perspective, implementing it was fun)

As well, this method eliminates waiting on us to send a new patron the key. (I could add a bunch of other BS, but in the end of it, boo hiss is probably deserved)

Didn't understand a word of that. Princess and Witch Trainer didn't just have sex scenes, their was a really chemistry between the Genie and the girls, humor and the like, that was expressed incredibly in as little words as possible. This game replaces the humor with just lines and lines and lines of text. The game is well made from a technical and artistical standpoint, but really needs an editor to simplify some of the denser confusing missions, maybe focus on one girl at a time. "Once you add erotic scenes to a erotic game, the game is ruined" doesn't really make sense.

How do you combine files to get a complete picture
