Or is the data from AIDA 64 better?
Nah this is fine. Doesn't help me at all of course :HideThePain:
Because I have no idea how to improve it besides rolling back to a waaay earlier Renpy version, like 2020 or something.
Personally I had an even worse setup when I started this game, up until v0.5, and it ran okay. Can't test it now on my old PC, no longer have it...

I might try and find a different (old) Renpy version and recompile the game in it, but not today.

edit: wait, no, mine was slightly better I think. I had:
  • Intel i5 3450 (better, right?)
  • GeForce GTX 760 (this was fucking old but 1050 is far from top tier as well)
  • 16 Gigs of ram (more than you have)
  • SSD
  • Win7 (eh?)

Something else surprises me. After all, not everyone works on older versions of RenPy. But such fierce braking in the video (???) I've only seen it once before. In the first versions of LITTLE GREEN HILL. In addition, an interesting point is the CPU load of 85-95%. Here in these places.

Yeah, mine looks kinda like this overall (13-15% load):
Screenshot_3.jpg

The fans are spinning pretty hard, and my 4080 is 25% loaded, which is kinda a lot for a simple engine like Renpy. Playing these videos from a video player is much easier for the system - 5% CPU, 8% GPU; compared to 1% CPU 0% GPU for an idle system.

I'll try to find on older Renpy version and see how that goes.

I also have thing bookmarked as a possible problem solver. At the bottom there, see if the game is running on a discrete video card instead of an integrated one. (not sure if your i3 even has an integrated one)

Okay, so. I hope you won't disappear. Because I wasn't really trying to solve this before for the reason that people complain and then never respond to me trying to troubleshoot this.

I downloaded different versions of Renpy and assembled the game in them. Thankfully they keep all released versions on their site.
As I understand it, Renpy 7.x is an alternative branch that uses an older Python version. I have no idea about Python or programming in general so don't ask me :HideThePain:

I also didn't test them, just made sure they ran. Compressed version only (faster to make and upload).

Here's a build of the game made with Renpy 7.3.5. I 100% used this Renpy version for at least v0.1-v0.5 back in 2020:

Here's a build of the game made with Renpy 7.5.3. This is the latest 7.x version (2023):

Try the first one - 7.3.5.
If it works better - try the second one as well, please.
If 7.3.5 lags all the same, the second problem might be that I started rendering animations at 60 fps instead of 30 fps once I upgraded my PC. You could try and scroll deeper into the game and see if 30 fps animations are lagging as well. The tricky thing here is that I replaced some of the old ones with fresh 60 fps ones. To guarantee a 30 fps animation, skip to Free-play and have sex with Esther in your room, those earlier simple 1v1 sex animations are untouched 100%.

I just finished the game yesterday, and omg,it was worth the wait. I really liked the endings, but my favorite was the

I could imagine a spin-off or even a sequel, where the "enlightened" Gloria goes on a corruption spree, try to "liberate" and control everybody with sex,and create a perfect world where everybody can jump anybody anytime and fuck till they can move.

Yes,it sounds dumb for a plot, but you rarely play a porn game for the plot,so it should be fine. It'd be entertaining to watch her corrupting key public figures, whos slowly help her sway the public opinion,to align with her goals. Anyway, can't wait for the next game, good job Mr. developer!

The game loads the video card up to 10%, about the same as the video player. Although there is an integrated video card, it is not used by the system.

7.3.5 - after switching to OpenGL, the flight is normal. Although there was no braking on the default settings.

7.5.3 gives not only a large load on the processor, but also twice the load on the graphics card. Moreover, only those two videos (at the beginning of the game, I didn't scroll far) slow down the menu and other animations on all (including 8.1) versions are displayed normally.

That's great, good news. Please test more on the defaults, as that's what most people will play.

7.5.3 gives not only a large load on the processor, but also twice the load on the graphics card. Moreover, only those two videos (at the beginning of the game, I didn't scroll far) slow down the menu and other animations on all (including 8.1) versions are displayed normally.
Something's lost in translation here, I don't get it. Please elaborate more.

So 7.5.3 is trash overall, right? Or only "some" animations slow it down?
On 8.1 you only had stutters with 2 animations and others work normally? Slow down what menu? Main menu that you open with right click?

"Horny Esther in the toilet in the original version" - original do you mean the main download, from post №1? Only one animation or the whole event is slow?

Overall, what was the smoothest version to play? 7.3.5 has zero problems, right?

Congrats for finish the game. Loved Maya x Gloria scenes and the Pet Ending. By my avatar, I don't need to tell you why. The only minor thing in that ending left me wanting to see Gloria serving Esther and Maya, it will stay in my imagination.

Curious why this game has the female protagonist tag? The description seems to indicate that the protagonist, Sam, is a dude.
