They meant that this is fantasy so they (the ones nitpicking on the word futanari like it is an absolute term) should suspend their "normal" beliefs of what is considered normal in a fantasy fictional world.
It is a common expression "suspension of disbelief" and I use it many times when advising someone how to enjoy better sci-fi/fantasy settings or practically almost every fictional genre, that we should enter a suspension of disbelief "state of mind" so we enjoy better those genres, just enjoy the ride, try to not nitpick everything you see because it only give them internal "pain"

Tolkien was really a smart author and an excellent linguist, but in the end is just a question of semantic. I prefer to say suspension of disbelief than "paradigm" or "secondary belief" based on the inner consistency of reality. But I totally agree with Tolkien, sometimes the fictional world is so so so absurd that only by totally suspending disbelief you can enjoy very bad sci-fi/fantasy/fiction
. What totally isn't the case of Instinct Unleashed, it is not a work of art to the level of Tolkien work but it is a very good narrative for an AVN.

thats a fair argument but you also have to take into consideration that this IS a porn game,the story is normally the 2nd priority in most cases while the porn is the number one priority

I have to disagree there, all in all, all this games in this forum are "porn games" but there is some that are at an higher level of quality because not all the focus is on the porn, some of this titles excel even if there was no porn and they would still have a good story and narrative to enjoy and/or very good visuals. Anyway I prefer to say Adult Visual Novel, most focus a lot on the Adult, others 50-50 and a very few very good ones focus more on the story/visuals than the adult part and those usually are my favorites. Come for the porn stay for the story, for strictly porn there is plenty of "real" porn sites for a quick fap

It would be a terrible scenario and do nothing to improve the story. It would be extremely out of character for Jade to be forced into anything or be submissive to anyone. That's just your opinion. Plenty of games here focus first on sexual content and some don't even bother with a story at all. This AVN isn't one of those, it strikes a good balance of story with sexual content. I can actually think of a couple games here that barely have any porn in them and they are still doing well. At the end of the day, it's whatever the dev chooses to focus on. Even calling this a "porn game" isn't wholly accurate. It's a story about someone dealing with their past and trying to make a better future. It just happens to have sex.
