This update was more focused on the story with Jade discovering more about her dad's death and the case she and Viv are investigating, about some drug experiments on futas.
Makes sense it was light on the sexual content. Besides Ash, Sam and Julie are pretty much virgins and one doesn't put a ~30cm dick into someone with no experience whitout a lot of preparation first.
I guess we will see the progress of those side storylines: Ash wanting to break free of her parents, Julie's mommy issues and Sam being bullied in the next update while Viv comb through the files she took from that scumbag ex-cop.

Yeah, I was going to say the scene itself with Julie was fine because it's setting up for something bigger down the road. And we were given important information. She's a virgin, and needs to steel her revolve for when Jade and her giga-cock claim it. I'm all for setting up for a bigger payoff down the road. The lead-in was fine for the scene too and gave us some character development for Julie.
I think it's mostly because there was no follow up after the abrupt ending.
I did mention in my first reply after the update I'm assuming this was a setup update. I'm all for setup and payoff.
And I think the reason things felt abrupt this time is because in the previous chapters, the major sex scenes has longer lead-ins, and then some follow-up after the sex scene itself.
Like in Chapter 2, after banging Evelyn, it soon cuts to black and it's the next day when Jade is at her bother and Evelyn's house. But that followed up on the events of the previous night, continuing things with Evelyn. So it has some lead-out.
Same with Blaire from Chapter 1. After the sex, there was the following morning with her.
So yeah, this is just different from before. And we need to accommodate that things won't be done the same every time.

Overall, loved it, this is still a very enjoyable read.
However, what others have been saying about scenes looking like they are fast-forwarding or cut short is true, I just didn't expect it to be jarring to the point of feeling like a good chunk of those scenes were missing altogether.
Probably the biggest offender is when choosing between Nate and Lena
- A somewhat natural progression happens if you pick both
- Picking either one fast forwards to them initiating sex
(and imagine being someone looking forward to a scene with Lena, you may be severely disappointed)
- There's no aftermath (again), scene is cut to Jade waking up (at Maria's)
I did notice in previous chapters that sex in this story seemed like an afterthought, but now it does look like it's getting straight up rushed. Everything that happens leading up to it and after should be just as relevant and there's already a pattern of Jade being like "ok you clean up this mess, I'm gone".
At the very least I'm hoping the more meaningful relationships (and their scenes) are reserved for the main cast. I mean, as someone trying to tell a good tale and itching to get to the good parts, one must always keep restraint in mind. And yes, I'm a thousand year old sage with plenty of wisdom to share.
Also, didn't expect Sam to be the hottest girl in this novel.

I think so. They are a couple after all and their scenes will vary. If you chose both of them, it doesn't mean they will be together in all future scenes, just want to let you know right away. Just that you will see more content.
As for most of the criticism I've read, I understand and unfortunately there's nothing I can do anymore except take notes. I wanted to focus on the plot in this chapter, so I guess I paid less attention to the sex scenes since no one liked them.
The scene with Lena and Nate was largely experimental with the threesomes. I wanted to try my hand at them, given that they are not in main cast.

We love the sex scenes it's just the plot is more interesting to talk about. Sex is sex but we got a whodunnit to solve.
That sentence was poorly worded on my part, sorry. I wanted to say that I paid more attention to the plot and because of that, the sex scenes didn't come out the best. That's why not many people liked them in this chapter.
Do you have any favorites among the characters? I won't tell the others, if anything.

Honestly, writing and story is still absolutely top notch, as are the facial expressions and scene pacing.
Sure, the Nate and Lena scene might have been slightly longer/detailed but I feel like it did it's job as a stepping stone into whatever that relationship will entail, and I probably only would've elaborated on the intro to the scene (i.e a bit more leadup to the sexual encounter) and maybe a bit more dialogue and a handful of renders more after the scene. It honestly wouldn't take much to make that encounter a bit better for the people who are annoyed with it.
On the other hand, the Julie scene was hot as fuck for what it was, and it's nice to have her character expanded on a bit to show that she's just an insecure youth with mommy issues that wants to experience new things. It might have been brief but it shed a LOT of light on her as a character and scenes like that are very underrated and intimate.
And as always, Jade never disappoints, setting clear expectations and boundaries while respecting the people she's involved with and making sure that they fully consent.

A good game, with an interesting plot and sexual content. Yes, there are practically no sex scenes in the third chapter, but that's okay. Jade, Bella and Ivy are my favorites so far, I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Mia.
