Thats the best name for it, the writer needed a way to allow the players to do body transformation before he got to the right bit of the story to allow it.
Its a bit of technology not a Harry Potter magic wand.

Yes, this game has not a lot of pictures but I enjoy the story and with the pictures/renders I can run my imagination "wild"...
something like this.
The "shitload" of text and the theme is not for everyone but if you are intrigued by the story and how you develop your character, so why not keep playing it?
I think Usagi makes a pretty good job with this. He just needs some time to make the game to his liking.

As I recall, there is an option you can open up where you associate with the doctor and she gives you options on how to transform your body with SCIENCE!... I believe one option is to become a futanari.

As I recall, either one of the interns makes you an offer to help her investigate the hotel... or you use the keycard from a drunk hotel guest and that leads to the quest.
