Your last point is actually a positive to me. I'm more inclined to enjoy a game if it feels more real. It's well written, immersive, or believable. A woman taking the initiative and going after what she wants, the MC, does that. The vast majority of games out there have a bunch of passive love interests that are there if you decide to pursue them. Otherwise, you never hear from them, or see them. This game is believable and the writing in particular makes it so. I'm on the Alexis train, she's by far my favorite girl, but I will say I was very happy with Nikki.
