hey all....I just started playing this game a couple of days ago...it's a fantastic game so far but jesus christ it's ripping my heart out...Nikki is one of my favorites and every time MC is with her he leaves her for one reason or another and it's killing me...I wish there was an option to decide to stay with her or for her to go with MC.

I am still wondering why Erynn didn't want to answer MC's question about having a boyfriend. was it just because it was a romanticly charged question and she got flusterred ? didn't seem like it was connected to her being blackmailed
During the beach bar date with Nikki, there is a surfer guy that shows up. I'm guessing that he is Zane. you can see among his friend, even though they are blurred, that Valeria is there. She probably saw MC having that date too then. and Zane seems to behave very much like MC in his flirting, which would explain why Erynn dated him maybe ? and if it is really Zane, and Valeria still is more attracted to MC even though Zane seems more handsome, and has a personality very close to MC, would the main difference for her be that MC is Hispanic (if we remove plot armor and magical attraction from the equation ) or that he actually listens while Zane seems to brush everything off ?
and now that we know Zane is Brooke's brother, he might become next update's drama/cliffhanger

That's a good question... Just confused feelings on her part maybe? She doesn't yet know what she's doing/going for with this kid.
Slightly later if she cacthes the MC having a look she's somewhat flustered, it surprises her but also makes her happy... and now we know she diddled her cunny(in his honor) that day...

Brooke having a brother named Zane who happens to be a surfer is too much of a coincidence for it not to be him.
I feel we can't be certain that was Valeria(though it did look like her), with a beach date on the way it's a great opportunity for Zane to be there and we will probably have the answer to this question and what are they to each other, does Valeria flirt with him too? Is Zane also Gym bro?
Valeria had already met Nikki(with the MC) so even if she caught a glimpse it's nothing new for her, plus the make out didn't happen at that spot, they went behind some trees(weird if she kept following).
We also can't be sure who Val likes better yet, she might be playing the field just like a fuckboy MC(a little less eager to jump into bed).
But things like being latino, speaking spanish and a pretty good sprinter work in his favor with Val.
Also a good chance for an awkward encounter between Erynn-Zane-MC if you are taking Erynn to the beach instead, opportunity for us to "mark our territory".
I don't feel like Erynn dating him needs much justification, the MC was gone, he's good looking, he's forward(and she wasn't traumatized back then) and most importantly he isn't Ethan, everyone looks like a great option in comparison lol.
I wonder if the girls will learn of our plans to visit Nikki/Cara on saturday? And how they will react to that, also "marking their territory" or disappointed?
Can we lie about where we are going? "Oh i'm gonna visit my guy Nathan, haven't seen him in a while" technically true but big omission here lol.

I forgot what part of the story he ask Erynn I want to say at the start during the pool scene with her mother. I think why she didn't want to answer could be for a few different reasons. Maybe cause of the trauma she has and Zane brings those bad memories back and doesn't want to make scene and crying Infront of the MC just thinking about a bad time in her life. Maybe while she still loves the MC he could of changed alot in 5 years. so she is uncertain if she still does want to be romantically involved with him just yet because of how Ethan changed to be nice and friendly and went back to his old ways when she wouldnt date him. So maybe her trauma is causing her to be hesitant and doesn't want to send any signals that she is available just yet. yeah, it's in the pool scene. so, basically, for you, it's also because the question is romantically charged and has a hidden intent coming from a boy usually. As she is a popular girl, she is very often asked that question with the intent of then following up with being asked out, I guess. so, maybe her "reflex" is shooting down the guy immediately, but she can't do it with MC and doesn't know how to react as her feelings prevent her from having her usual response ?
I think Zane should be a good enough memory for her, if it got serious enough for him to be her first boyfriend and sexual partner. maybe only the end of the relationship was very messy. they most likely had a huge argument, and he probably said nasty things to her.
honestly, it's weird that she didn't tell Zane about the video, as he is in the video, so he is supposed to be a victim too. she should have liked/loved him enough for that. except if she suspects that he could be an accomplice and helped Ethan.
Yeah cause she loves the MC and is very fond of him probably why she didn't know how to answer that question would be my guess. I think Zane would be a bad memory more cause it is was led up to the blackmail and trauma even if it started sweet. But also there is probably more to Zane than we know. Is it possible he had a part to play in the blackmail and Ethan double crossed him? How else would Ethan know when and where they were going to have sex? Is there more to Zane that Erynn has yet to tell us? I feel Zane is to much of a unknown at this point in the game, other than he is the butterfly effect that started Erynn down the road of blackmail , escorting , trauma , going to Prom with Ethan. That's why I feel Zane would only be a bad memory for her cause I would think be hard not to think of all the negative and it lead to as she would recall Zane is the first boy she had sex with and regret she did because of what it lead it. That would out way any positive or good memories she would have of Zane.

if it is Valeria, it means she lied to MC when she said she never went to the beach before he brought her. so that would be an interesting development, as she seems to be also lying, or at least hiding stuff, to her other male candidates. though it seems Nyx said it isn't her. honestly, I would actually like it to be Valeria, as it could add to a potential "broken" girl persona, with how her romantic views were warped by the relationships of her mother and her mother's best friend, and with daddy issues. there is no cliché "i can fix her" girl in this VN, even Tori doesn't fix the bill here
Val said that she is ok with people dating multiple people at once, but not when they are already serious with someone. so she is practicing what she preaches. she is most likely dating the gym bro, heavily flirting at the very least. and she doesn't like when he lifts her up
even if she met Nikki before, she didn't know for sure if MC dates Nikki, or if they are just friends. she suspected something only. being on the beach and seeing how they behave confirms they are dating. and if she didn't see the full make out session, she could see what lead to it.
Erynn was traumatized, in my opinion. Her first love (even if she realized it only later down the lane), and best guy friend, ignored her, left and cut her off overnight. then the bullying and becoming even more isolated. that's pretty traumatizing, honestly, for a teenager. so finding someone that paid attention to her, and behaved like MC, would make a pretty big impression on her, no need to e good looking at this point, only as a bonus
so actually seeing that relationship grow and how she perceived it would be pretty interesting, at least to me.i think we visit riverside on friday, maybe even thurday, and leave to visit Nathan on saturday. the only way for the girls to learn that MC went to visit Nikki and Cara would be if MC or his mom tells them. they could learn it later if Nathan tells Lakeyn who then tells Alexis and Layla, but Nathan is not the kind to snitch on MC even by accident.
Damn, I would love to see a confrontation between Nathan and Zach after MC told Nate what Zach did... xD Also, when the whole school learns what Zach did to MC. I wonder how Layla and Elena and Val will react, especially in the cases of MC not being friends with them anymore

I think, it could also be a bad memory because she actually hurt him a lot... she basically dumped him after their first time, out of nowhere, not giving any reasonable explanation. and going to the guy she said she hated the most. she might feel very guilty about that too.
also, starting dating Zane means that she gave up on her hope of MC coming back and forced herself to move on even though she could not without having real closure. so she is stacking trauma upon trauma there. when she discovered he was back for real, her reacting seemed pretty tame. We might get a scene with her real reaction later, from her POV, I think, when we get further down her path.

Nikki might be the most compatible girl for MC. they banter as equal. she gives MC a run for his money. by contrast, he seems to have to carry all the other relationships. Iris could be a close second, but we don't have enough scenes in the present.
