actually you cant go with Layla unless you ignore Erynn.... because she kinda force you to go with her.I'm just glad that last choice never backfired on us I hate picking between girls but I felt like I had to go back with Layla considering the state of Elena But again it's all worked out as Erynn visits. Now with regard to Alexis not sure what's going on with her but something is definitely off.
You can. You need a certain amount of points with Layla though. Then you'll get the options "Go with Layla/Stay with Erynn"actually you cant go with Layla unless you ignore Erynn.... because she kinda force you to go with her.

Yeah, that's what I had both options, although I was unaware of the whole points thing I guess that will come into play with future content and seeing different scenes and such? You can. Yeah, I am not a big fan of points determining whether we get to make a choice. In that scenario I don't see why having a certain number of points with Layla should open an option, there are many reasons to want to take the train: 1) Your new friends all drank and you want Elena to get home safe 2) You haven't seen Erynn in 5 years and don't want to start that conversation while tired and drunk 3) You want to go home and not worry your mom (who stayed up late one night to scold you about drinking, not answering texts, etc).Yeah, that's what I had both options, although I was unaware of the whole points thing I guess that will come into play with future content and seeing different scenes and such?
I can remove the point requirements in this situation since it's a decision between a group of friends and Erynn. If it was just between Layla and Erynn, it would make more sense.Yeah, I am not a big fan of points determining whether we get to make a choice. My point is that the decision doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how Layla feels about the MC but rather how the MC feels about the situation. Hiding the choice behind a Layla point total doesn't make sense - her behavior towards the MC should be determined by points. Her conversation with the MC should be altered if the player doesn't have enough points, maybe she is more rude to him in the conversation after the decision.
Yeah, if the MC was out on a date with Layla and then encountered Erynn the point requirement would make absolute sense. However, with it being a choice between "go with my new friends I've known for less than a week" or "someone I haven't seen for 5 years and need to reconnect with" it shouldn't rest on the point total of one person. At least that's my two cents.I can remove the point requirements in this situation since it's a decision between a group of friends and Erynn. If it was just between Layla and Erynn, it would make more sense.
I'll change it for the upcoming 0.3b release on friday.
I am not against a point system in general. But you have a point (no pun intended) in this case. I agree.Yeah, I am not a big fan of points determining whether we get to make a choice. Points for determining the behavior of a character toward the MC makes absolute sense. I am completely in agreement with point systems being used to decide how an NPC (Non-player-character for those who didn't spend most of their puberty playing D&D) will act or react to the player/MC. I don't like having a Point System lock out a decision or option that isn't directly related to a character.I am not against a point system in general. in my playthrough, I had to ignore Erynn so I get that option with Layla, dunno why, so I ignored her in the bar since if I don't I would be forced to go with her and won't get the choice to go with Layla.Yeah, that's what I had both options, although I was unaware of the whole points thing I guess that will come into play with future content and seeing different scenes and such?
That could be a possibility or Elena's kiss took her by surprise as you can see Layla gets jealous when she also kisses the main character, but I can see why you think that just by looking at there face expression when it happened.Regarding action and choices being based on points.
The scene on the train where a drunk Elena kisses Layla relies on Layla points only, which seems a bit strange, unless it is something like : we do not normally do this in public, but as I know she likes you, I will let you (and Zach) watch. Even then, how does she know how many Layla points you have, unless Layla tells her absolutely everything.
If Elena has kissed Layla, Elena will then kiss MC if there are enough Elena points (which makes sense)
Yeah, it would be nice if the Elena kiss was only based on Layla liking the MC (maybe 10 or more points) and her own points and didn't require maximum Layla points. However, I can see an argument for the kiss being a petty drunken "make Layla jealous" move and not about Elena's own interests at this point (since she only has a 4 point total).I read a comment here that said Elena could kiss you on the train, and I was surprised that I hadn't seen it yet because she was one of my favourites (along with Alexis and Melissa). Oddly enough, the fact that I liked Elena more than Layla is why I never got kissed by Elena. More specifically, it was because I paid attention in geography class instead of staring at Layla's legs. That left me two points shy of unlocking all of the extra Layla scenes that eventually lead to the kiss scene on the bus.
Elena likes people who study and get good grades, doesn't she? I mean, she was really worried that we weren't going to pull our weight in the chemistry experiment, so I would've thought that us being a bit of a nerd in geography class would work in our favour. But we instead get an odd butterfly effect where focusing on class means that Layla doesn't like us enough to get Elena jealous enough to have Zach tell her that we said she was cute and fun to be around, which means no kiss for us. It's not a big deal or anything, just a bit strange. Hopefully, later updates will have a way of starting things off with Elena that doesn't rely on us first being interested in Layla.
It would be nice if we could be a bit more proactive when dealing with the various love interests in the game, especially if we had options other than stare at their legs or cleavage and hope they find our leering to be flattering instead of creepy. During the scene where Melissa asks if you are single, and then tells you that she knows someone else who is single, I would've loved a chance to hint that we are interested in her by following up our "Is she cute?" question with a similar question that describes her instead of her daughter. Melissa clearly puts a lot of effort into being fit and looking good, so I understand why she could be flattered that an attractive young guy can't help but stare at her, but it doesn't exactly paint our character in the best light.
