We are blaming Zach as he's the obvious choice when in fact it was Lucas, especially after seeing the MC with Layla in the morning.

One of the main reasons why I don't want John to die is because of what it would likely do to Iris. He seems like her rock and a great dad.

As to her state after the Ethan meeting, i think it messed her up a bit, when the MC talks about him she has this worried look on her face and recalls the encounter, but she's too scared to tell the MC about it.

Didnt he throw the letter away? Unless Erryn really likes going through garbage, Im not seeing how she'll know about that letter.

Do you really think that Nyx wouldn't find a way for Erynn to see that the MC finally got one of her letters and threw it away? She absolutely will if you chose to do that.
Even on a path where she's mad at the MC because of kissing her while seeing Lexi I still read it and will do a response letter. Hopefully it will be a way for them to at least become friends again. Even if we don't get the same opportunity to help her.

Emily comes in "There's this letter for you in the trash" right in front of Erynn.

Even on no interest in Erynn saves, write back, always.

True, true. I just figured that she was good to go for the emo date with MC and flirting around meant it wasn't gonna be something super serious that is really messing with her.

To me she's clearly putting a strong face... there's nothing wrong, nothing happened, i just dropped my phone, business as usual.
That includes keeping her schedule "as normal", including the party she wanted to go... But what happened is affecting her on some level.

Maybe we will have a scene where the MC notices that she's a bit sad and weird during the party, and questions "what's wrong with you? You seem worried" and she finally explains what happened.

Like I said I have the bad feeling that Val may actually tell Zach what happened to her with Ethan before she tells the MC. In an attempt to get Zach to open his eyes to who his new bestie is.
She did say that she wanted to have one last talk with Zach before not bothering with him again. I can see a scene where a crying Zach realises what a huge mistake he has made and Val ends up feeling sorry for him. So tries to build bridges between them. Could even result in a points loss with her if the player refuses to even speak with Zach.

This could well play out...
Despite agreeing with the MC, Val doesn't wanna cut Zach loose.
With the MC mentioning that Zach and Ethan are buddies, Val may well want to go to him and tell Zach to distance himself from Ethan, because he's messing with Zach's head.

Not sure if that's a great choice(for Val), not sure how Zach reacts, punching, not punching makes a difference?

If it goes that way, Val simply won't speak to him again after this one final chat just like Layla and Elena. Him playing the victim and crying will likely get him her sympathy and attention. The stubborn dick will likely see this as him still having a chance with her.
