I can just imagine a scene where Erynn is taken to see the lawyer about the Ethan blackmail and he's one of the clients that she has escorted.
You never know who can be involved in that shady business, go to the police and one of the higher ups like the police chief is a regular or something. Or his father has connections.
Though obviously all of this likely isn't going anywhere because (thankfully) the Ethan stuff is going away soon. Hopefully he dies a painful death. Or like I said before gets put in prison with some huge bull of a guy who makes him his bitch, so he knows how it feels.
Intertwined doesn't go deep into this, but i doubt "fake Erynn" dreamed of pretending to be another girl to her agent...
She's one girl that got completely broken, and doesn't even care anymore.
As long as the money keeps coming in, she's willing.
Probably signed on as a model with big dreams, the money wasn't quite what she expected(with him being her agent, it's a rigged game).
Got convinced to do the escorting "just once", it's a lot of money, just to laugh at a guy's jokes and eat an expensive steak... what's the harm?
Then it keeps snowballing, "if you stay the night your fee will be 10 times as much".
Gets into drugs to get through these nights...
Next thing you know she's a completely broken slut, willing to do everything for cash and drugs.
I don't think he killed her intentionally, he might simply have smacked her when she got "feisty", and maybe she landed badly.
He doesn't have a motive(that we know of) to kill her, so if it happened it has to be an accident.
She died in a dirty alley, no idea if it happened there(Ethan does use back entrances to clubs and things like that) or if they just dumped her body there.
No doubt he wanted some relaxation that day after getting his ass kicked... and Rachel is a good "Erynn proxy" for him to get his rocks off, but she also has a bit of an attitude that maybe made them fight(i think she's not quite at "rough sex in a dirty alley while he calls me by someone else's name" level).
So i can see things going badly even if it wasn't his intention.
A guy like him, used to having everything he wants, wouldn't be able to take a woman talking back to him right after getting his ass kicked by his "nemesis".
His clients are rich and powerful so he could/should have connections beyond modelling.
Often it's a game with marked cards, clubs and police fully onboard with what's going on...
And yeah, let's hope proper punishment is coming
Now there's a number of people that know the story, might be too difficult to cover up

Progress Update - Episode 15
First something I can't believe I actually have to write. A few weeks ago, I got info that someone who copies these progress updates and posts them at other places, changes what I'm writing here. I checked it out myself and sadly, it was indeed true. I know this one will be posted too at other places, but just a quick heads up. If you're not reading this directly on my Patreon, chances are that the contents are incorrect and altered! Especially if you read about certain upcoming scenes or release dates and so on...
Now to the progress itself. I finally finished the first part of the scene I'm working on for quite some time now. Now working on the second part, which will be much smaller, and I can use most of the renders for all the routes except for 2 small conversations, depending on which path you are on. So, I hope I'll be done with this scene very soon, so I can start working on the Valeria date. Once that one is done, I can finally talk about the second day. I have a feeling it will get close to the size of episode 13, which I didn't want to do anymore.
Progress on the rerendering of episode 4 is going steadily. I talked about adding 2 small scenes, one for Cara, one for Nikki, but Cara will get 2 instead of 1. Those are all small scenes, so they won't take much time, but they will enhance the flashback a bit more.
Since lots of people ask what's left to do for this update, here's a list because there's a lot more going on than in other episodes:
episode 15 itself (renders/script/code) Day 1 and 2.
rerendering and changes for episode 4.
recoding of all episodes with new variables, some script tweaking, changing conditions for certain routes...
changing all the "animations" as in looped renders into MP4 video files, so there won't be loading issues anymore for some people and higher fps.
music/songs/background sounds for most, if not all, the episodes.
some other small stuff.
So it's a lot more work than usual but all this will help for progress on future episodes.

Better monk, with the right subclass can use Ki to cast spells.... and it's a "fit" class

better yet Wizard up to 5th level to get level 3 spells and Stinking Cloud and Multiclass into Monk for the rest of the game be a weird build but would fit her character

But none of the cast, except perhaps Iris, are suited to intelligence-based classes XD

MC is totally Grog from Critical Role a minimum level intelligence Barbarian that only knows how to Rage and swing an Axe
fucken finally... and more save slots too, in theory... this update could really increase the overall quality.
