Progress Update - Episode 15
Probably the last progress update of the year, since I'll be gone from next week until the new year.
The Valeria scene has been finished. I'm working on the last small scenes to finish the first day. One of the scenes is the new scene I talked about a little while ago. I wasn't sure if I would include it or not, but I decided I would. It's the MC goes to the movies scene if you aren't on the Valeria or the other character's path. Then there will be another small scene, which is a conflict with a certain character. And the last scene of the first day is actually an Ethan scene, for if you decided not to help Erynn with the blackmail plot. Since the majority of the blackmail storyline has been scrapped, which included the not helping Erynn scene, all scenes now need to get together at a certain point so everything will have the same ending instead of multiple endings. Probably a short phone call scene, similar to the one you've already seen in episode 14. Or maybe I should just remove the choice of helping or not helping Erynn and automatically make you help her. Would save me some time... We'll see.
Let's start talking about day 2 and what's about to happen there. First there will be 2 options to where MC will train for the relay race (If he's still allowed to participate that is. But since he doesn't know the answer he trains for it nevertheless). Depending where you go (Will be decided by a previous choice), MC will meet a certain character at each spot. Both spots will be completely different. One will be longer than the other because of intertwining paths.
In the afternoon, MC will meet up with the partner he's assigned to work on the geography project with. But, there's also a possibility MC won't be helping (This is also due to previous choices.)
Another scene in the afternoon is ... Yeah, I'm not going to talk about this one either. It's gonna be very different than usual. Some will like it, some won't. It has to do with MC, though, and maybe some of you will be able to guess it.
MC will also go to John's garage to get the repaired car and talk about some other stuff.
Lastly, there will be a scene which starts the end of the blackmail plot. Of course, I won't be talking about what's happening there. But this episode will come with a warning, which I will talk about closer to release.
What I will warn you about already, though, is that there will be a point in one of the MC training scenes where it looks like you don't have a choice to a certain outcome. Trust me, you had a choice already, multiple actually but it's not black or white. Sometimes you need to do something you don't want to do, and sometimes the "bad" option will be the better option in the long run. So, stop always taking the option which gives you points and trust your gut feeling.
Keep in mind. Things can always change a bit while I work on scenes. Some things can be scrapped, but I can also add a new scene to it.
That's it for now. I probably will start working on day 2 in the new year. I might be able to finish day 1 in a few days before I'm off to my vacation.
