This game had some potential but I don't think it will be great. First of all the choices you make don't have an impact on the f/d relationship, they will make out whatever you chose. I guess that the bold/timid choices you make influence only the relationships you have with other people, which I suspect it will lead in some ntr stuff. Not that I mind but I think that it would wise to clarify that in order to avoid the controversy.
The other thing I don't like is that if you chose the faithful wife path, the father and daughter are total assholes. This woman tries her best to save her marriage and her douche husband tries to fuck his slut daughter. Again not a very bad thing for porn but in a story you want the main characters to be a little likeable.

I asked Ptolemy same question at the beginning of IR. His response was that most of the money and effort go to female characters, male characters are just run of the mill DAZ models.

I'm right there with you @Sam, and on the same path. I get that it continued to "story" a bit and that there are other paths, but fuck me. The father/daughter relationship is pretty much the main storyline, and it got fuck all attention. Normally I wouldn't mind, but the progress with this game has already been slow, but things are at a snail pace now with this.
The amount of spelling mistakes and errors - as a fan of Dreaming of Dana - it felt like PTOLEMY wasn't even involved in this update, or at least gave little attention.

That was exactly the impression I had as well. I know he's had a lot on his plate lately; trying to finish off Dana, getting another concept up and running, working on the new patcher and starting a new job on top of all that. So I can understand a temporary dip in quality, but as I said I still can't help but be a little disappointed.
I wouldn't go that far, yes this update is uncharacteristic but dropping support over a single disappointing update when he has a long proven track record is incredibly harsh and unfair IMO. He's one of the hardest working developers out there, I've been backing him for over a year and will continue to do so.

I generally enjoy @Ptolemy for his writing, but this update could definitely use some fleshing out.... It felt jumpy, like the scenes just occurred to show us that people existed between day and night. There was little in the way of actual development and in spite of the background thoughts of the characters, everything seemed very forced.
