Probably yeah. - It is closed source. This isn't just a 'Software Freedom' problem. There are many issues with it.
- No one other than RarSoft can make a tool capable of creating .rar files. Even though the algorithm any tool capable of making a .rar infringes on their copyright.
- Because of the above, no other tool can MODIFY .rar files. The content can't be added to or have files removed from them.
- Only RarSoft has access to the code. Only RarSoft can search for most bugs. Only RarSoft can release a fix for bugs.
- *And if you have a tin-foil hat. We can't know for SURE what the software is actually doing without a TON of de-compiling work. And even then...
- It does not compress files as well as other tools. It is close. Close enough that it likely doesn't matter. But for archival purposes it does.(1% less efficient is meaningful when you are archiving 1000 games)
- It is closed source. This isn't just a 'Software Freedom' problem. There are many issues with it.

not sure whether you're serious or not with that, but those downloads don't work... first off, they're RAR files, which aren't immediately compatible with MacOS. second, I even have the unarchiver app which allows zip and RAR files to be opened on MacOS. However, after I unarchived ALL of your files, I clicked on each one to play, and they just wouldn't work... some error message showed up saying that it can't be opened on Mac or that it can't be played. Im able to see the game icons after I unarchive it, but I can't actually run the game. its pretty misleading and useless when it says MAC, but it turns out to be RAR files and not .zip... if you have any guidance on how I can open these it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Okay I must be dumb, but no matter what actions I take after the first choice in chapter 7, it all leads to the same end where I fuck Vera and the other girl and lady August dies. What am I doing wrong?
