I wish you the best as well. If i had the time and was better at html i'd offer to help. I love the game's premise.
You guys provide a lot of help to us by testing and finding our fuck ups. The game is small, yet has grown to the point that it is hard for us to thoroughly test everything and invariably, we miss some things rushing through to get content out the door. We try to get a bug fix release out within a week for anything we screwed up, so whenever you all post a bug you found, it helps a lot.

I’d still be happy to financially contribute if that were to help things.

Like the game, plot, and concept. Looking forward to seeing more.

Did y’all ever try to train an image generator using Invasive Species 1?

No; we got a LOT of negative pushback when we suggested using AI to help with image generation. Not everyone is a fan of using real porn, but most were strongly negative on AI; so we decided to listen to what you guys were telling us.

The last time I tried this I found the grind quite annoying has grinding resources lessend in later updates?

There will always be some degree of grind with the game; and what you find still enjoyable vs not is hard for me to judge. Numbers change from update to update as we're constantly tweaking things. That may have it in a range you like, it may not; so it's hard for me to give you an answer there.

If you just want to skip that, you can set your name as "cheater" (without quotations) at the start and that will unlock the dev menu in the cave that will let you spawn resources, money, etc. Expect the exact rate of resource gains and costs to vary as development continues as we're working to get the game far more complete from it's current state and there's no "final" game balance pass planned for a long, long time.

Is it ever a possibility to start nabbing the temporary repeatable girls you mind wipe for the hive? Could be a decent way to bolster numbers or make players decide on if they want a character from the story or the cute girl on the corner taking up space.

Maybe we'll add a few that you can; mostly we have those to help bolster repeatable content (as well as a recurring way to get more money).

For what it's worth, I've had some success using image-to-image AI to make characters I generated from text-to-image pregnant, as well as growing their breasts. It may be worth considering as it can avoid the warping of the background that can come from editing the images manually.

That's a fair point. Where ever possible, we used actresses who had also worked pregnant; though getting details like hair and tattoos to match became it's own mini game of mix and match. It's not impossible, just time consuming.

Of course, real photos are the most satisfying option where possible.

Overall, I've quite enjoyed the game, although I found that you have to know beforehand that you need to get the teleporter early otherwise the random birth events with Midori & Co. will give you too many thralls for the milk production/consuption upgrades to cope with. This is what killed my first run.

By the time I finished what I believe is most of the main story so far:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I had only just collected the resources to avoid runaway milk consumption causing fatal amounts of suspicion (which happens too fast for the suspicion-reduction upgrades to be worthwhile, unless they are a daily effect or something). I felt that this left me with not much reason to continue playing and see the other upgrades - I don't want to spam through days to grind materials to unlock more cave slots to see the girls unlocked by Tier 2.

I'm sure this is something that will be improved when there is more content to play though while you acquire more upgrades, which I look forward to. In the meantime, perhaps it's worth making some of the upgrade choices (such as lair capacity) a bit cheaper to make getting those new girls a viable solution to feeding a growing thrall horde?

A more minor question is about the use of dice rolls. As it is, with no way to improve or customise your stats, they feel quite arbitrary. All the dex check to climb the cliff does at the very start is force unlucky players to restart, for example. It's not as if I chose a more nimble, but weaker, character to unlock that option, and it's not as if it's a hidden area that I can return to if I spend time improving myself; rather, it feels as if the beach house is the "right" way to start the game and that players should be encouraged to go there, not given a dice roll and a game restart.

I say that it feels like the "right" way to start because in my first playthrough, I travelled past the biker bar and into town, encountered the girl on the road (Lisa?) and captured her with pheromones, before teleporting to a cave that I hadn't explored yet.

I hope my comment doesn't come across as negative - as I said, I enjoyed the game and the transformation content is very good. I feel like most of the issues I've raised will be solved automatically as the story and game become more fleshed-out. I'm looking forwards to future updates.

There definitely is a learning curve there and it's hard to balance at the moment as we change values and such around from build to build for various mechanical reasons; when the game is a bit better fleshed out, we'll take some passes with a critical eye towards the game balance itself. It shouldn't be impossible, but it shouldn't be just an auto one-click and things are find either. Which is hard to do, it turns out...lol

Yeah; that whole area is VERY WIP and was getting built right before we lost our first of 2 devs who left the project this year and that really really set us back.

There suspicion reducers are one-offs and meant to break math cycles where you'd get stuck and have no way to get ahead of the curve. There will be actions you can take during the day with your precious energy to knock down suspicion (eventually) to make reducing it something you "work on", rather than a one-button solution. There are a number of tech improvements meant to make the milk math work out more in your favor (as well as the ability to buy milk from the grocery store). Perhaps we need to look at some more though; or some temporary things for early game.

Fair point; again game balance is not ideal and will be revisited.

A more minor question is about the use of dice rolls. As it is, with no way to improve or customise your stats, they feel quite arbitrary. All the dex check to climb the cliff does at the very start is force unlucky players to restart, for example. There are improvements for your stats in one of the upgrade menus; eventually we're planning for other ways to improve your stats. For example, there are a couple of key events that come with a stat bump for completing them. The first cliff climb is purely a risk point for the player early on. You don't really get much for it except another way to reach Midori; it was a very early part of the game for us to test the stat system as well.

I say that it feels like the "right" way to start because in my first playthrough, I travelled past the biker bar and into town, encountered the girl on the road (Lisa?) and captured her with pheromones, before teleporting to a cave that I hadn't explored yet.
OK, that sounds like a screw up on our part; we'll look into that as it shouldn't happen; you shouldn't be encountering Lisa before securing the beach house and the kinda intro and the world opening up afterwards.

I hope my comment doesn't come across as negative - as I said, I enjoyed the game and the transformation content is very good. I feel like most of the issues I've raised will be solved automatically as the story and game become more fleshed-out. I'm looking forwards to future updates.
Oh we greatly appreciate feedback; we don't see it as negative (If you go through the thread you will see what truly pointless and negative feedback looks like at times). Feedback like yours really does help us improve the game; for example none of our testing even looked at going to the biker bar at the start anymore as it's been ages since that area was touched and clearly something is now broken there.

I wish we were updating the game as often as we used to, but there are fewer of us and we're doing what we can. There should be a new update out when the current build passes bug testing (also hopefully with this issue fixed). Please continue to post your thoughts and ideas; a lot of good stuff has come from the players on this project!

How do I reduce suspicion?
Outside of an event, there are upgrades in your tech menu that will produce one time suspicion level reductions. Eventually you'll be able to get some repeatable things to reduce suspicion at the cost of other things.
