I'll say one thing. The months we worked this project, I really enjoyed that each art piece you submitted was better than the last. You didn't ever compromise the quality of your work to make deadline and often surprised me by delivering more than anticipated. Hope you're doing well!
People want visually appealing art in their porn game, so I aimed to please. Thank you for giving me a shot with no background in the adult game scene. I hope you're also doing well.

If we were to do it right, it should use a different engine, though I am still kinda shamefully proud I made a point n click adventure model with ren'py. Honest numbers for this game to work? Based on the experience, I think that could have been finished in 15 months working full time hours on it. That's 2 people who need to earn wages over 15 months. It's why early patreon support is so important. I gotta give it up to the ones who make a successful run at it. It's difficult to reach that base of support.

I would love to see this game come back, not above subbing on a platform for it, if thats what the creator wants. I assume they have new projects also, so maybe a spiritual successor?

Couldn't you treat this more like a side project to work on when the two of you aren't busy? Maybe set up some way of taking donations? I don't think the money's gonna be there in the beginning, especially for a niche fetish such as this one. I don't think I would've found this game if I didn't lurk on this site from time to time. Even if updates were sparse I would still prefer that option over it being abandoned entirely. It honestly saddened me to see the game just drop dead outta nowhere when i felt it was picking up some substantial steam. Personally, if this does get picked up again, I would try cultivating an audience first, then setting up a stream of revenue when you feel you've built up a big enough audience for it.

Sorry, I don't think a guide was made, but you can get with most of the girls, and in different variations based on boob size and whether they are lactating... and we had just introduced a mechanic where an NPC could walk in on you having sex with another NPC. This is dependent on where you're banging someone, of course. Anyway, if that happens, the 3rd NPC watches or joins, as we did have one easter egg scene with that. Yeah, upon reflection, this game had a ton of potential. Most RenPy games don't have that level of stuff going on.

The big question I have is what would it take to restart this project? Cause this was by far was on my top list for BE type content that is rarely found these days.

The quick answer is free art and lots of free time. But that's the thing. Any artist worth their salt shouldn't be free and my partner worked his buns off to produce what's in there. It was an exhausting 5ish months of work (3 in preparation for the first release, before we launched). Totally would have been worth it if we could have found an audience. I feel like these days, either one needs to have a host of skills and free time for a long-running campaign to catch steam... or they need something pretty magical, product wise, to reach a strong base of support quickly (including great marketing, which I suck at).

The reason we stopped is we just didn't see the numbers climbing, getting only a handful of new supporters with each update wasn't enough. So the real answer to your question is a solid base of support. We had a very clear vision for the development. Core game finished within 8 - 12 months and then another 6 - 8 months of work to add all the filler, sidequests and easter eggs. We didn't necessarily want to run it indefinitely, as so many successful patreon campaigns seem to do. Rather, both the artist and I were more interested considering starting new products under the banner of "Frothy Pink" if things went well. Anyway, dreams smashed, but the experience was pretty cool. :)

I don't know if anyone is watching this space, but out of a bit of boredom and interest, I dug up this old code and started tweaking it a few days ago. This is what I have slated to fix, and some of them are already done:

1. Sex scenes all work identically (clicking moves the scene forward faster... otherwise you can just sit back and watch. This is partly finished)
2. Voyeurs showing up randomly will be easier to code with Task 1 finished and will be added to most sex scenes
3. Entering and exiting rooms (and NPCs) will take much less time
4. Fix Paul bug in Lab A: always showing up, getting in the way and staying past closing time (finished)
5. Fix Candy bug (showing up too frequently in lobby)
6. Made getting perks from good relationships slightly easier (finished)
7. Trapping sperm proteins manually takes half the time (finished)
8. Clean up Sperm Sample Analyzer buttons and purpose
9. Make it easier to automate SSA features
10. Time to trial one takes less than half the time (coded, currently testing)
11. Clean up HUD menu and offer earlier access to music control
12. Clock stays digital by default after Day 3 (partly finished)
13. More places to rest and build up sperm count and pheromones (partly finished)
14. More NPC effort in chasing you when your pheromone count is high (making collecting sperm a timing challenge)
15. A few more clues as to the actual story itself...
16. After Trial 1, you can trade in trapped proteins for Lactation Pills
17. Give or Spike drinks with these pills
18. Women leaking milk leave trails wherever they go until they are no longer leaking (partly finished).
19. Offer two skips on start menu... skip animated intro and skip to Day 2 (allows player to skip the rather long interactive introduction into the gameplay)

If any of you peeps would be interested in seeing a cleaned up, hopefully "funner" experience, chime in. Let me know if there's anything else you wanted addressed. I'm kind of doing this just to challenge myself. Have no idea where to upload it when finished, though.

I always wondered why there was an analog clock. Seems easier to keep it as digital if you asked me.
This might also be a me thing, but I find the voyeur parts to be more humorous than anything. There's something so funny to me seeing Phil stand over you having sex with a big smile on his face. I don't want this gone, I just needed to state that I like this.
I also found the relationship feature to feel underutilized or found that it didn't impact gameplay all that much.

Fuck knows what I was thinking when I first put that clock together. I believe I wanted to show the minute hand moving at all times so players had a scope of how it worked, but digital would be fine for that.

Good observation. The relationship feature is in fact underutilized, as tweaks were always intended to occur as the game got more fleshed out. This was by design, so there could be content for current updates and placeholders for future ones.

There are quite a few bugs I'm finding. Only two MAJOR things to fix, but most of the rest should be pretty easy to clean up.

I also intend to add voyeur actions post sex scenes. Rather than just disappearing, there is some dialogue and direction as to where NPCs go. In my original notes, based on relationship factors, voyeurs may turn into active participants. Again, there was a lot of potential for this. A shame to see it go to waste lol
