Damn I was looking forward to it until I read the card battle is so damn unbalanced and the Gold is so gracious there is no reason to go to the brothel. Than what is the point of the game? The 2 reviews looked pretty solid.

Judging by the achievements, there is a NewGame+. Combined with the fact you can save/load whenever, this isn't really a roguelite or roguelike. It's just a deck builder. Which is still fine, but people wanting that Slay the Spire risky choices high might be disappointed.

Edit: Yeah, I don't think anything other than loot is random, and you certainly wouldn't call ny game with random loot a roguelike.

Man this seems like a bad habit now/trying to trigger me and piss me off:
1) I request/+1 a game in the Game Request
2) The game gets a topic
3) Immediately gets slapped with a 1-star/2-star review within the next 24 hours
4) I almost lose interest of the game/lose interest in it and don't play it
Every... single... time! I will try this one cause someone showed it to me though.
Happened last time for Ars Magna, spent like 50 hours on it (Played it THRICE).

There should be a rule that reviews cannot be accepted until at least 48 hours from topic creation, like that, everyone from every timezone would at least have a chance to test any game appropriately!

Another idea is to simply remove the Ratings altogether, simply leave the Reviewing option without rating the game!

Note: BTW, this is why I don't review games/write reviews; I'm afraid to overshoot the review (so that people play it then be disappointed) or undershoot it (so that players avoid the game and those who try it feel like they've been betrayed)
'Fraid I ain't tried to trigger or upset you (or anyone else) in any capacity. I don't even know you or that game you mentioned.
I'm sorry if you feel in some capacity targeted.

But the fact seeing a low rating on a game discourages you from playing a game doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to express why I think a product I 100%'d is of low quality.
I gave a plot recap, I explained the strategy I used, I even listed the cards I had. It don't get no more in-depth than this I'm afraid.

And, hey, let me encourage you to share your opinion of this game (and others). The more reviews on a game, the better users of the site can get an aggregate opinion of the game's quality. My opinion ain't no more valuable than anyone else's, and the more reviews the better. Don't worry about overshooting or undershooting; be true to your experience with the game, and people will appreciate your voice.

i wouldnt call it a good review when theres ZERO mention of the ADULT CONTENT in the PORN game.
I actually did mention I've not even done the first brothel scene since it yields 5K gold and you get >200K from a dungeon run. Also, I mentioned that I assumed the scenes with the protagonist's mother result from begging for extensions, which again I did not do as I used up less than 20% of the time allowed.
That should tell you that the adult content is to your objective in the game as well as to the narrative what taking a mallet to your own foot is: harmful.

However, allow me to be completely unambiguous about this: I hit the "unlock all" button after finishing the game and went over the scenes.
They are bland and boring and uninspired and there's not many of them. And they're not animated.
All in all, a waste of time and disk space.

Anyone figured out what "Discard chance +x" do?
Discard chance is the number of cards you can remove from your deck at the knights order. Honestly you don't have to worry about that at all since you start out with 6 if memory serves, which is enough to purge most starter cards, and you get more for each dungeon you complete.

I'd say that reflects more on the game than the review. The porn was such a non factor or so disconnected from the gameplay that it wasn't even worth mentioning. Good porn games intergrate the two or at least have one lead clearly into the other with reasonable justification, if good scenes are the only thing you're hunting in a porn game you'll have more luck on sad panda.
Precisely as you said, it's a non-factor that's not only disconnected from the gameplay objectives and narrative of the game, but is actively detrimental to both.

I think you are misunderstanding what I said! I am not disappointed about your opinion at all; in fact, nobody should be deprived of expressing themselves!
The disappointment comes from games that I request being bombarded with bad reviews from the get go. It is so redundant that it feels really like a habit.
I cannot give my opinion yet since I haven't played the game but every time I suggest a game, it gets very bad reviews for some reason or other, which discourages me not only from trying games sometimes, but from suggesting games altogether.
Long story short, that is what ticks me off: It's not you or anyone's fault in peculiar, it's just something that I noticed that's all.

Beat this game twice without watching a single lewd scene, absolutely shredding thru dungeons with a great many broken cards.
It was kind of fun to test out the many possibilities that a terribly unbalances StS clone game offers.
But if you're not into that, well...

What people want is a balanced card game and with the broken cards this sure is not it. Get the broken card and walk through the game.. Why do people fail at making a well balanced combat card game? Only the one on here that I know of works pretty well so far.

This reminds me of that other game Last Evil, it was called. Was a pretty solid game and all 3d animated scenes.

Someone should make a rule or a law because I'm upset!
Maybe ignore the reviews, I don't think I've ever even looked at a review score.

The problem is imo that there aren't really that "many" possibilities. Essentially, the game makes the big mistake that it completely undervalues how broken card removal is, and gives you way too easy access.

One of the central mechanics of Deck Builder games is that having more cards is a downside. So if you grant easy access to removal, the most broken option is to remove all your basic cards, grab 5 decent ones from the dungeons, upgrade them to max level, and then stomp through the game. So the strongest option is to run a build where you draw the exact same cards every single turn. That gets old really quickly, for obvious reasons.

I finished the final boss within 4 turns with a deck that I hadn't really modified in any meaningful way after the first payment was due. And frankly, most of the later cards seemed like garbage that would just water down my broken combo, so it's not like I could make any fun adjustments to it.

where the flying f are consumables
You either buy them or pick them after killing an enemy.
Counterintuitively, consumables are removed upon exit of a dungeon. So if you don't use them, you lose them. I only learned this because the shopkeeper luckily had a speech bubble about it in one of my visits.

Insert usual complaint about gameplay being completely disconnected from the hentai here. However, both elements are fairly decent. The gameplay is a moderately well balanced if very basic version of Slay the Spire. There are about 20-25 unique sex scenes with good art and voice work. Nothing about this game is spectacular, but everything is solid enough. That doesn't sound like its setting the bar very high, but compared to the competition, this is significantly better than average. For less than $20 you could do a lot worse.
