If the story is good enough, I can truly dispense with the porn. If the story is really, really good, the porn can be insinuated and never shown and I'd be as happy as if it was shown. If the story is amazing, in depth, in scope, in well written, the porn isn't even needed or missed.
And even if this adult, even if this is visual, even if this is a novel, none of that means porn. Sex isn't porn. Sexual acts aren't porn. Sexual innuendos aren't porn. To me, there's really no porn in THIS story. There's depictions of sexual activities between consenting adults, that's just part of life, not something restricted to a pornographic setting.
Calling this porn says a LOT more about upbringings (where naked skin is taboo) than it says about this story.
I don't feel any obligation to follow hypocritical religious concepts about what is "proper" and what is "perversion" from people that did those things in secret while preaching against them in public.
I reserve the term pornography for acts that go out of the boundaries of consent, all the rest, is just sex, and sex is awesome.
