I was half-,joking, but it is still true. This thread really does have a nice and pleasant atmosphere.
That you are here talking to us, joking and showering us with hearts doesn't hurt.

Athena and Heidi in Bare Witness could be good too, though I haven't explored it yet

I'm waiting for it to be completed to replay, but there's a fundamental difference, they are already in a relationship, MC is being added. While good, it's not really the type of story I prefer.

But, I feel like BTT is writing what can become the standard for dramaless throuples. For a while I thought that the writer of Triangle, Knight's Story and Couples, could be, but I think that there's something that really doesn't work for me in his games. The need to "separate" couplings. They are all in ONE relationship, or are they in separated relationships that may or may not fuse? I find that absolutely discouraging and sometimes right down the dreaded 3 letters path in terms of feelings. FFCreations, in Freeloading Family, did the same forcing the MC out of all of Alice's interactions with girls. It was heartbreaking.

But, BTT has the chance of creating a truly defining trend here. If the correct approach is taken, embracing the closeness and involvement of all three, so that instead of having 3 relationships, we truly end up with ONE that has 3 participants, all equal, all in, all at the same time.

That I have played, this hasn't been done. Somehow there's always a couple and a add-on. To me that is a poor man's throuple, while the true thing is a relationship. ONE relationship. The type of thing where it doesn't matter which one is in the middle. I have high hopes that this one is it. Very high hopes.

P.S.: The other games are mentioned for reference, not comparison. They are all part of my Top 20 and I love all of them dearly. No intention of disparaging or diminishing them.

For me , I play a game without any sex scenes from the start of the game from more than 2 years till approxmately now without any sex scene except one very short one and many of ppl here love it and give it high level comments , as for unique game IN MY OPINION ONLY I do not care too much about sex scenes , max as a great movie including sex scenes not porn movie , so go forward we are here till the end.

That is not something I mind, I mean in this game Isa is the one who gets added, as it were.
I have no idea how throuples actually work irl, but I'd imagine it is common that the third person gets added to an established couple.
But in a game once the throuple is established, it should never, ever be about a guy who has two girlfriends. That's not what a proper throuple is. Focus should be about the three of them, not the MC only.

do agree though that the way BTT has written it so far is very refreshing and sensitive.

I haven't played the other games you mentioned, so can't comment. Besides aren't we a little too close to breaking a rule by talking about other games? I'd hate to see these posts get deleted.
