(rpdl#6652)My issue isn't really with how the model looks, entirely, but her presence is so jarring that it breaks whatever mood or tone the shot she's in was trying to portray. There are plenty of unrealistic proportions in games/anime/hentai/art/whatever medium, but they at least fit in the environment and have a demographic in mind when they are made.
If an artist with this kind of niche ideal of beauty is going to make something that focuses on that niche, while posting it to a place that doesn't share their sentiment, It's only expected that people are going to be very vocal about it. If someone makes a game, and expects people to enjoy it and possibly fund it, then the focus should be to make the character appealing to a wider demographic.
Everyone is entitled to a passion-project, but know that other people are entitled to an opinion on it if you're going to post it to a public forum.
I gave the game a try, but that character model is just too off to stick with the story. It looks more like what someone would make when making a parody of this kind of game. Far too deformed for the liking of most, and if she had any more sharp angles/edges on her, she would cut anyone she walked past.

My comment was directed at the people who did just come to tell everyone that they didn't want to play it for X. Whether it be because it's text only, futa, gay, furry, 3dcg, rpgm, or the artstyle was not their taste, is not really the point. It's the point of going into a sushirestaurant and yell "I HATE FISH, I'M NOT GOING TO BUY IT!" So since you tried and then found it too jarring, you are not the target of the comment.
After the first release, I was totally concerned with negative criticism. I had the feeling to have to justify myself. Meanwhile, I totally shit on it
I like constructive comments like yours, from presumably adult people who can differentiate and consider many aspects. I also like constructive suggestions that inspire me for changes and further developments. For example, there were adjustments made to Masha for Chapter 2 - Which only a few people noticed. Most of the comments here are extremely focused on Chapter 1, which is being re-rendered in parallel to the implementation of Chapter 3. But most of them didn't notice that either, because most of them are not only disrespectful and opinionated, but also too lazy to inform themselves.
Offensive comments with "ugly" or "shit", only ... I skip meanwhile because they do not provide any added value and contribution.
The masses here don't seem to be my target group at all. However, I have resigned myself to that, at least for my first project. For those people there are other games here to spend their time with. I'm glad that I'm personally having fun, and have gotten some companions who support me and think what I'm doing is great.

I might play this game if the female is reworked and wears baggy clothes and a hijab. Any wood I might have would turn to melted cheese if I see her hips or mouth.

I wrote in previous posts that Masha was adjusted for Chapter 2 because I was really inspired and persuaded by constructive suggestions and really like her better now.
However, Chapter 1 has not been re-rendered yet. I want to do that in parallel with the implementation of Chapter 3. I won't get rid of all the trolls with this, but I won't give a shit.
Your sushi restaurant argument is not valid. We can all see the preview images from the game, so it's like we had a sample of the sushi. If it makes most people gag, it's bad sushi.
I admit I played some weird games, but all of them had something in common: the artists of those games had a basic idea of human anatomy even if sometimes the features were exaggerated (huge tits/asses with tiny waists, small boys with Hulk size penises etc). I don't enjoy gay/furry stuff, but I never started writing spam on any of those kind of games, I just ignored them. But when I saw the preview images from this game I was compelled to say something because it's a game I would enjoy playing if the woman looked like a human instead of something from a freak show. So even if we're harsh with our criticism, maybe the artist will try to rework the female or at least avoid creating something like this in the future...if he wants to have any success in this field. If he/she is just trolling us, then good luck to him/her.

I didn't find the render of the MC's mother model not too bad (images below), but she doesn't look like she's 41 years old, she looks like she's 50 years old. But let's have to say that your body is completely horrible and that luckily it can be fixed. The story could be improved if you will want to take your project forward and seriously. Well, I find incest stories appealing where characters are confined to a house and the mood starts to heat up, however it doesn't get me excited when things go too fast however the story could be improved but I considered this as a demo. The second rendering image I found better, at least she doesn't have her huge and ugly lips, and the third image, it's more than fair that she has thighs and ass in that shape.

I already made some nasty comments on this thread and I now feel bad about taking a shit on your work. It's human nature for untalented people to make fun of the work made by others. Some of us don't care about anyone's feelings and we just like to dump our frustrations on a random forum. So I'd like to apologize for my shitty behavior and wish you all the best with this project or other future projects.It´s sad reading only comments how weird or unnormal my female character is.
I have my own style and don´t want to reflect the reality to 100%. I don´t need to make similar characters from well-known artists. Aspects like the hip-waste-ratio represents my style and my personal preferences. There is so much other different content, which isn´t ordinary, and that´s great I think. This site is full of diversity, if you check the thread "Show us your DazSkill".
Furthermore, I think every creator deserves respect, especially if something was shared for free. I didn´t want to create the typical curvy "Mom" with big tits, because I was inspired of several models and pornstars from Eastern Europe and Brazil with wide hips, smaller breasts and a gap between the legs, which are more slender than others.
And according to the plot, there are some other factors which affected the look of the female character.
Guys, like it or not, but it´s art. There isn´t "right" or "wrong". I don´t want to become rich with my hoppy. So, I will also be happy if some of you will like my product and my style. Have a great morning, day or evening!

, if you're claiming you appreciate constructive criticism, here's a couple:- I don't mind women with small breasts, wide hips and a gap between the legs. As a matter of fact, I was quite impressed when I saw the girls from University of Problems. Most of them have wide hips, huge gap between the legs and an innie (which is common for girls and very uncommon for adult females). At first I had mixed feelings about that art style, but now I enjoy this deviation from the norm. But there's a big difference between wide hips and a triangular pelvis flipped upside down. It's just not natural, I'm sorry. And it breaks any kind of immersion for me (but the game is not made for me, I get that
).- if the issue described above was non existent, I could easily overlook the huge moth of the woman. I mean it needs to be huge to fit that member, am I right?
In any case, I haven't played the game, but judging from some of the reviews and from the tags, it's a game I would enjoy playing. I'll keep an eye on the development and at some point I might try it and give a review. But at this point, the 'hips' issue is just too much for me.
