They were making monthly updates in the summer. The dev is a college student. Yeah the updates slowing down are probably a combination of both their schedule and the fact that they started developing another game. You could say it's fair if they didn't say anything and left it to question, but they explicitly said it wasn't abandoned.

Many Devs like Stiglet and Icstor have also stated that their game isn't abandoned but a year later that's the case. Point is that it's better to assume that the game is abandoned since this the AVG industry.
This makes me assume it was abandoned even more since time is limited in college and college students are some of the biggest flakes around.
People are welcome to assume what they want for whatever reason. Whether it's better to be a pessimist or optimist isn't an objective argument. But I don't think it's better for people to claim that the game is abandoned when the dev is still active and stating the game is in development. It just confuses people coming to the thread.

succubus covenant? the dev who bashes & ridicules his own supporters who critique his work (many times with the usage of group pressure) and hasn't released a update for succubus covenant for over a year because of overworking his artists repeatedly? the game went from a lot of cgs, to animated, removing animation after like a year of doing it, getting a new artstyle midgame, then changes to less cgs which is less than we had initially. not so great dev choice!
sirendev is reliable but works at like 3 projects at a time which means there's slow updates for his games so i dont usually follow him every month but just wait till the games are finished.
