Well, this means it's still unclear for a new player lol. quality = min(skill, diligence), yes quality = diligence but with a limit of skill, from perspective of the girl doing good.
complexity = max(0, min(5, master_penetration - diff))
if complexity > 0: sex['girl_excitement'] += 1 & sex['girl_attention'] -= 1

I added a complexity to show description on screen, in different interactions complexity is calculated differently, in kiss interaction it's master_oral - diff. Used to show how difficult it is to further increase her excitement, complexity>0, then you can raise her excitement.

Replace "Quality" with "Performance", "Complexity" with "Progress" may be better?
Seems like quality is measuring how "into it" the girl is and complexity is "how well" the master does it (ability to achieve desired result).

So maybe "diligence" for the quality label (diligence as a label says to me that it is a measure of the girl's performance, not the master's)?

For complexity, maybe "efficacy" or "competence" or "potency"? Potency seems like it wouldn't be the girl... and potence/impotence has a sexual connotation, so that's an appealing option. I think "efficacy" is probably the best though...

Hahaha, so it's improper for me to do the text work, I'm considering what the difference is among them. :LUL:
Maybe later I will do the code work to adjust sex_interaction.qsrc.

What are tips for initial slavebreaking? Mine are insanely rebellious, refusing even maid work and basic house rules and fighting me if i do so much as scold them, which leads to beatings and drop in sales value

I'm playing the Lord so my stats shouldnt be an issue

And the slaves is "cowardly" and "open", which shouldnt be a problem either

https://f95zone.to/threads/jack-o-n...ntsman-community-development.390/post-7571347 (basics of obedience / diligence)

https://f95zone.to/posts/4773091/ (tutorial walkthrough - older version but still may be helpful)

Also suggest you try latest dev version. Fighting you is related to how intimidating the slaver is - the spell "magna magnifika" increases this and helps avoid fights until the master's natural aura strength is high enough to not need the help. Noble Regalia outfit also helps this. Alternatively you can use a whip or lash or cattle prod to defeat them with only morale damage, to avoid injuring them.

Using 2.2.2 (dev version), I started a game with M'lord. Bought a loli from the market: lively, stupid, cowardly, timid. Bought a wizard robe for the master so I could easily cast auspex to see the aura. Even without wearing noble regalia or casting the magna magnifika spell, the slave's aura is significantly weaker. So this slave would not fight back. On normal obedience difficulty, this slave has negative 8 obedience (8 thorns in aura). If you ask what she thinks of you, she says she doesn't mind doing housework. Since she is stupid and not too proud, but has a high temperament, she's also willing to dance for you. However, her diligence sucks because she is depressed. Needs a mood boost and maybe some clothing to help. Giving her an athletic leotard and pointes, her mood is still pessimistic. Add an "encourage" and she's optimistic. Now dance lessons are successful. This slave has traces of beatings which lowers her mood also.

If you want a shorter disobedient phase you can set obedience difficulty in the game settings to easy.

Yeah well, thats another death spiral. The slaves are depressed (because they got enslaved, duh). I can encourage them which improves their mood by one, but it will drop to depressed the next day (from refusing rules or something like that). Giving them gifts without cause spoils them, but because they are depressed they also wont learn so there will never be a reason for a reward

Instead they will point blank refuse everything, giving plenty reasons for punishments which - if i do them - will make them depressed again so they wont learn, but if i DONT punish them they'll get more rebellious and not learn either

Is this something that got changed in the modded versions? I don't remember it being THIS hard...
Usually you could make them obey at least veeeery basic rules (humility) and teach them some housework and then go from there. Now even timid slaves act like the most rebellious ones from the original version

From the tutorial you linked it seems like you really need to max out bonuses, kitting them out with outfits for every single task but having that as a
requirement for even a *chance* of slaves doing anything at all seems excessive. It makes it so theres only one viable way to play which isn't fun. Maybe I like my slaves to be naked. Maybe I want to play a harsh master.

It did get harder in 2.1 compared to 1.7.x. Dev build 2.2.2 includes some tweaks to reduce next-day mood swings a bit. Point blank refusals are obedience threshold check; ask them to do something different, which they might find more acceptable (varies by slave attributes) or increase their obedience (from fear, awareness, taming, habit) to raise obedience above the threshold. Tutors and school can't be point-blank refused, so if you're getting blanket refusals consider using those. A weak, low-skill master will have some trouble - intentionally so - but it's still very manageable if you use all the tools available (e.g., clothing and rules passively building up obedience over time). On the other hand, a slaver with stats like M'lord has lots of tools to help get through the disobedient phase faster.

Forcing rules is a balancing act. A sensivity (high-empathy) slave is more prone to despair, whereas a low-empathy slave can tolerate harsh rules longer. If you start seeing despair in her aura (or she's "visually" depressed in her attitude when you view her rules screen), it's usually best to back off on anything that's contributing to her downward trend. On the other hand, despair does raise obedience a little bit, so if you can keep her mood up even with some despair, it can be helpful to pass obedience checks while you're waiting for other aura stats to develop.

Most rules won't be followed willingly until the slave is obedient enough (green buds of obedience in aura). Deny orgasm and no masturbation usually are safe because the slave doesn't have any desire to do those when not aroused. Cooking and cleaning have low obedience thresholds too, but you usually need at least a little bit of fear or other aura stats. Deny toileting can be used early without refusal if the master is intimidating enough (high master stats, magna magnifika, noble regalia, maybe some forum quest artifacts, depending on slave attributes).

It's not necessary to use outfits, but it can save a day or two at the beginning of training. Depends on the slave's attributes. You can use a harsh approach - force rules (with necessary equipment from necropolis store), let the slave be depressed, build up their fear and taming and awareness with repeated painful punishments - with enough fear the slave will be obedient and then will be at least minimally diligent in tasks from fear alone.

If not started with difficult one, there's still different choices to train a slave.

Enforce rules with equippments at a cost of attributes, mainly focus on lowering her pride and other attributes to increase obedience. The most extreme case is turning her into broken.

Tremendio, threatening and raping help to increase obedience through fearness and despair, risking her committing suicide, but it can be avoided by 'Supervise Slave Rule'.

Punishments are good ways to make up for your improper tries, reasonable rewarding and punishing increase her obedience mainly through fearness, habit and awareness. Slow but low-cost and smoother.

Be careful about the spoiling, other attributes and auras against you in training, but they won't pull you back. Spoiling do. Vicious circle always happens with high spoiling.

Outfits helps in training, but not greatly, moods of both you and her matter more in comparison.

Question on the Enchantress cheat. Is it supposed to remove mature slaves? I like the changes but my farm is suffering.

Oops... forgot to give tutorial a bigger budget.
Not a big problem to me, I just wanted to see the instructions in english.
And based on a knowledge of codes, I could tell you players who play this game for a first time, will have less patience to read such a long instruction, and even they read it carefully, they inevitablely can't remember them in one go. At least I can't.

So, it's better to split every instructions into in-game playing hints, for example, into aura page, when you click on despair, it give you the meaning, advantage and defect of it, whenever you forget, you can refer to it repeatedly, not need to exit, then read a long composition wholly.

And I was inspired by the hard tutorial that, I should redesign Rosa's attitude and relationship system.
Add a new designing idea to change cooperation relationship with her into a subordinate one.

Relationship meets a condition, you can take Rosa home as a slave at a cost of lower Manor income →
design a slave Rosa(with high mage, alchemy, spoiling etc. and with most resistant traits (traits value = 1) but slave['exhibitionism'] = -1 as weakness), and an powerful enemy Rosa, and buffs for Rosa as an assistant.

Refer to slave fighting you → you failed in combat → Rosa flee, Rosa Manor House access denied → You Randomly meet maid_assistant in Bull, then catch & leave her, cutting off Rosa's income and supply source → Rosa surrender.

Rosa's blood lower than a certain value → Rosa surrender in combat → refer to slave fighting you, she never fights for several days.

A npc Rosa and an assistant Rosa share different advantage and disadvantages.

Ok so I finally figured out a way out of the death spiral (Encourage & Explain her Situation 3 days in a row, make rules only for cooking, cleaning and orgasm denial, autocast buffs, buy her a sundress) but it's basically the same with every slave now which gets really repetitive. Fear approach would technically also work but tanks her motivation so much that training times go way up. And you don't have that time

Because now I'm running into trouble with upkeep. The upkeep is insanely high. I'm pumping out D Slaves like a madman (cant train anything else in 10 days) but I can only break even. The House costs 500 easy, plus food etc you end up with something like 700/2100$ costs per week/month.

Gotta do 3 C Slaves every month if you wanna beat that.

Again, why make the game that much harder? I wanna enjoy myself here, not become a "pro"-Jack-o-Nine-Tails-player or figure out the best min/max strategy. This is a singleplayer porn game for gods sake, we don't play these for the "challenge"

Edit: Also, I think this is a bug: The fiend from the Slums doesn't grow. Isabella has milked it every day for 60 days now and its still stage one

Edit 2: Uninstalled the Dev verison. It was getting absolutely ridiculous.

- I was savescumming constantly to get perfect traits (fit, intelligent, yet obedient,) since you just dont have the time to train anything but skills in 10 days
- Only using guild contracts because you can't afford auctions
- only training assistants and servants because anything else would take too long,
using every trick i know and then STILL barely getting by or actually still getting a gameover because for some unknown reason the guildmaster would not pay a quality bonus and you'd end up with 450 bucks instead of 750+

Eventually I realized that even in the best case scenario I was repeating a boring routine just to barely survive financially

Dude, you might be a master at this game now, know all the variables and tricks by heart and be bored by anything but perfect play, but most of us are not. There are characters for hard mode, make something even more punishing than Jonny if you like, but the base game shouldn't be almost impossible to beat even with good stats unless played in a very specific "right" way...

Any chance you toggled the game option for no mature slaves?
I checked that. Was still set to allow mature. So idk. Started over.

Is the farm still under development? Far as I can tell the farmhand doesn't play much of a role. Cows degrade quickly unless you are doing a lot of slave swapping which feels a bit intense for a slaver trying to make a passive income.
