somehow i don't think Jackerman is starving.... but i am no insider. Nevertheless it is knd of funny to talk about the possible income of creators on a PIRATE-Forum...
He might be flying high now but donation incomes for artists can be a fickle thing, nor do we know what his costs are making his vids.
It is funny that porn can spice up economic discussions.

it is indeed. But i am rather sure, JM doesn't need the porncontent for a living. I vaguely remember something like he does it as a Hobby and for fun... Would be quite cool because that garantees his artistic freedom.

Following the muse does not pay the bills. Being a starving artist, while some might think is noble, is still starving.
Why would you think he is starving? My guess is people are paying well for his niche content, far more than the unwashed masses would pay, particularly the loudest mouthed contingent from pirate sites who are always so quick to bitch, but slow to reach for their wallets.

I never said he was starving. I was simply responding to your comment that artists should follow their muse and not trends.

Fine I'll have another go
  1. Following the muse does not pay the bills.
Apparently it does, many artists have been very successful following their muse, in fact that tends to be the way they get to be successful (and IMO the only way great art is made).
Or do you think all those half-assed copycats represent the true path?
  2. Being a starving artist
Apparently you never said this, so I don't know how to respond, seems I might be hallucinating.
I don't see any reason to say this within the context of my post, other than to claim the artist in question is struggling because of the path he has chosen.
The only other interpretation I can think of is that you are a defeatist, prepared to declare failure without even trying!
It's almost as if you think there are no other ways of making money other than becoming a shill?

1) And sometimes the muse doesn't. It is not a guarantee of success. You just countered your own argument though, as being a half-assed copycat might be someone following their muse.

2) You're right, I never said he was a starving artist. I was making a general statement about your comment that the talentless should not dictate to the talented. People can make what they want, and if it means they have to or choose to make something that pays the bills, so be it. Following a trend, or what people like, is a good way to get eyes on a person's talent in order to then secure themselves financially to go follow their muse.

but when it's incest that wins you always treat it like he won just by luck
how is me saying "the options that didn't win lost because they weren't good" saying that incest only won because of luck? You're reaching for something that isn't there.

1- It doesn't matter if he canceled the project, because your statement is still wrong.
2 - He didn't cancel the project for lack of interest or something, but because F95 blocked the game because the male characters (the son and his friend) had a very young appearance
3 - the project was not entirely abandoned because the Mother Warmth series is based on it
But why is the rum gone?!

Can you explain better? Your question became meaningless when I went through the translator.
it's not the translators fault, either it's a typo or he has been at the mushrooms again. o_O
Its neither. Its a quote from Pirates of the Caribbean as a joke to show how ridiculous and off topic you both are being. Just be done so the next time we get a comment it can be important, like a new monthly or MW3 preview.
