The Leisure Suit Larry games were such an annoying series. Sure, the series is historically significant, but the humor wasn't funny enough to justify all of that effort, just to get cock blocked. At least, that's my take on it.
I'm new to this game, but I think all the posts here are on point about blackmailing. Other female protagonist games I've tried are so over the top with it I've been prejudiced against it. If this developer handles it with the same style and "sexiness" as the rest of the story, I could be swayed to like it. As a guy, I predominantly immerse myself in male protagonist games. But the same rule still applies for me for either - the woman has to be enjoying the situation. As a male protag, I can never get into rape, coercion, mind control, etc. of female love interests. Similarly, as a female protagonist, I have to feel she's enjoying the sex, not being forced into it to the point where she is in literal physical and mental distress.

I envy those individuals that still haven't tried this masterpiece. If only I can erase my memory of playing this including the first time that I saw these gorgeous renders, I'll gladly do that experience over and over again.
Being a rookie to JOHN, I got the chance to binge on hours of it nonstop. Now, like you veterans of the game, I'm hit with the depressing reality that I have to get used to waiting months at a time to appease my newfound addiction.
