(My Google Translate English). What I think irritates people the most is not only that Stoper takes so long to update, but also that the updates contain content that almost no one cares if it's there or not, like Jessica's numerous sex scenes with Conner . The time that Stoper could spend on other better scenes for the story of Jessica's corruption, he prefers to do scenes with Conner, who is a circle that most people won't follow in my opinion. Stope seems out of touch with his audience's desires, most people don't want to see Conner. That's why I find it disappointing to wait for an update that takes a long time with content I don't even want to see.

According to Stoper himself he spends a lot of time in clothing and hair, he even uses other softwares like Zbrush and Marvelous Designer

"As far as getting help, the way DAZ works makes it rather hard to do. I've been thinking about it, and one area where I lose a lot of time is fixing clothes and hair. This is done in an external program, so passing it on to someone else to drape garments in Marvelous Designer, or fix the deformations in ZBrush would be pretty simple. But I have not seen anyone who does it to the extent I want it done."

You can evidence that in these renders, for example:

Their hairstyles are very elaborated and Shani's clothes have a lot of texture and different tones, even with translucid segments.

Also her make up is sophisticated and realistic

View attachment 3191892

Show them grabbing those objects, the glass and the purse, in that delicate and natural way is very diffcult to achieve

Look how Shani's hair moves here

Her shirt is full of texture and wrinkles here

According to DAZ artists, moving clothes position properly like in the next render is very difficult and demanding. That's why you don't see situations like this one that much in these VNs (Usually the devs show a render with clothes and the next one without them).

A close up when you can notice the clothes texture.

Compare how it looks a translucid blouse in JOHN and in BADIK.

Remember the glass of wine held by Shani? Here not only looks unnatural, but like she is actually not holding it, her fingers aren't flexed.

The difference in the background's details are evident too.

Look at Isabella's hair and Jessica's one

View attachment 3191916 View attachment 3191922

Not only there's a lot more texture in Jessica's hair, it's evident that DrPinkCake is using an enhace tool to increase artificially his renders resolution, almost no skin texture neither. That render is from his last update.

In terms of renders, JOHN is in a different league, if you ask me.
How do people look at this level of quality and shit on Stoper or this game, that you can play for free, I will never understand. Surely these people are just bad people in general. That's the only way I can make sense of this.

This game is beyond its time, it's very detailed, even the comparison between Bella and Jess is remarkable.(y)
It would be almost perfect if it weren't for the current state of the game and Dev's various excuses.

meh, these small details are barely noticable for the ordinary eye, we here for a fun time not to inspect aesthetics of how the hair looks or the realism of the clothes.

I rather have 8000 very good renders and 150 animations over 300 "perfect" renders and 4 animation for the same duration of development time.

I would say one guy is really working and the other one says hes working...

For some of us who actually pay attention to the renders and story (and care little for the lewd)...they are very important and all those little details make up the difference.

Just like a relationship...it's the little small things that matter more far than the one off big things. Nothing wrong with wanting both minute detail which elevate above the competition...and content together.

Guess you CTR skip then huh...

I appreciate very much (as pointed out by someone else with screens) the wardrobe and how stoper manipulates clothing.
Maybe to you perhaps...
c'mon*

If I didn't care about the art, I may as well read Literotica. Anything else you care to say?

You are not a good alpha if your balls get blue in 5 min. If you want to play JOHN and meet The CONNOR you need to be ready to count in decades and give the save to your child!

Guess why I said DPC's focus isn't on render quality. I never questioned if JOHN's renders look better than BaDIK's. Are people even reading my posts? All I'm saying is that DPC could absolutely compete with the best artists out there if he wanted to. His special renders alone have a much higher quality than regular renders inside the game, and even here I'd argue he's not wasting much time on them.

As for the rest of your post; I'm glad you're providing evidence that Stoper was able to produce way more content years ago, as that's when some of these Shani&Jess renders had been created. Nothing has changed in terms of render quality, but he's somehow taking 3-4x as long to create the same amount of content while trying to use his posing/clothing excuse non-stop, again and again. Getting quite ridiculous, doesn't it?
I didn't quote only you, I just wanted to show the quality differences, quoting the people who were discussing them, even someone who was saying that Stoper's renders are better by far.

Stoper was already very slow during the formal party scenes, this year he was even slower due to illness, supposedly.

I rather have 8000 very good renders and 150 animations over 300 "perfect" renders and 4 animation for the same duration of development time.
As the most of the people, that's one of the main reasons why DrPinkCake has more than 18,000 patrons and Stoper, 548. Being slow is penalized. For example, the dev of Steps of Debauchery has already more patrons and earning more money than Stoper, despite of releasing his game in August of this year. Although Stoper doesn't do any kind of marketing or promotion of his game.

I agree that DrPinkCake found a balance between quality and efficency.

Eh, I'd argue that ~4 months per release in 2020 are worlds apart from v0.60's 11 months (v0.55 took ~9 1/2 months, v0.50 took ~7 months, v0.45 took 6 1/2 months). It's only downhill since January 2021 pretty much right after he's released the "formal party" update on January 2nd 2021 (v0.40, unless I'm mixing releases up here). While you are right saying that he's already been rather slow at the time, those ~4 months compared to recent releases makes it pretty clear that something isn't right. Not the first time he's been using "illness" as an excuse either, and funnily enough during the exact same time of the year aswell. It's never anything serious, and he either doesn't know what it is, or it's covid. But apparently still bad enough to add several months to the development? Yeah, right..

Just too much going on for this crap to be considered coincidence at this point. 3 years straight everything going downhill. Excuses left and right, "illness" at the same time of year pretty much on the dot aswell as constantly coming up with his quarterly "clothing/posing taking longer because details" excuse even though the graphics and details are the exact same since atleast 2020. I'd have to check the start of the game, but actually I'm pretty sure it's always been the same quality since the very beginning. Add to that the endless contradictions in his development blogs compared to what you'll end up with in the update, and I'd say what we have here are a bunch of more than heavy indicators for a developer who is taking a piss on his financial supporters.

Last devcycle, the guy took like 3 months just to set his new computer up (4090ti, which was also supposedly gonna increase development speed...hint: Exact opposite happened, who would have thought), but was apparently tech-savvy enough to do "maintenance" on his old, bricked 1080GPU....Followed by his 2 or 3 month lasting "illness", to which his Doc apparently said it's nothing serious. Who is buying this? Like, seriously...Imagine pulling this off when you're working for someone else in the real world. But ay, easy enough when you can sit on Patreon money.

Anyway... I've been way too active in this thread the past few days. Any PR is good PR as they say, and stoper certainly doesn't deserve that right now. Should just stop posting until something happens...or not.

Merry Christmas everyone.
