There are 2 patches, the one in the OP is for Chapter 3 v3.5 patch doesn't break it either.

There is a new patch for Chapter 4 Part 1 loacted here. Tested it and it didn't break the game.

No, chapter 4 is standalone for now, chapter 3 contains 1,2 and 3

Are you sure you are downloading the right one...it says chapter 4 preview in the file name. I have the compressed and works just fine.
