This is one instance in which I won’t be using the IC patch, I feel keeping these ladies family friends versus actual Mother and sister helps me appreciate the story much better.

From I realistic POV I’d be depressed as fuck knowing my Mom was a pornstar, I’ve read dozens of stories about the children of pornstars being bullied to the brink of suicide, which some go through with sadly. So it’s a big deal regardless, now if you’re one of those “free love” folks, which some are then you don’t have a problem with this. But again living in the real world and adding a bit of realism to this scenario most sons of pornstars would find their choice of work disgusting and appalling. But this is a game so logic always doesn’t apply in these situations.

I keep an eye on the game because so far it has been top of the top quality for me personally, with my needs. Ok, that's me personally. It's enough for me if MC is the only one and the girls are hot for him

I feel as if the over-arching story, whether there are animations, the quality of the renders, the amount of the renders, etc... would affect patron count more so than Veronica's background. I guess, in my personal opinion, I thought a playmate was a good degree of separation from a pornstar, since they don't involve a physical partner who is having sex with them. Also I liked the playmate idea because of the various "sexy" costume ideas where is a normal model wouldn't wear those. Sorry for the initial misunderstanding.

It seems to me that the order of impact on the financial performance is:

1) quality of artwork, good animations are a big plus
2) content choices, like incest or having mom be a former playmate
3) story, sadly last.

I already forgot most of the stuff from this game but I think girls fought for main characters attention only because Juno put a spell on him and by the end of the prologue that spell was gone. So from now on main character will have to simp to get laid, just like in most other games.

If you're referring to me, you've got me all wrong. I haven't ask the developer to change anything. I read about the content and decided not to play the game. I just pointed out that the chosen content will hamper this games ability to make money. That's undeniable. There have already been posts regarding mom's former porn star status. The developer realized that he had a problem and made an adjustment to fix the issue. I just stated that I did not think that he went far enough in fixing the issue and that he is still going to lose some possible patrons. In truth, my posting here just helps the developer. The last post before mine was 12 days ago. Look at all the posts that he has gotten since mine. I will say, that since you love the game; I hope that you are one of his 15 patrons. If not, telling him not to change anything is really doing him a disservice.

There is a serious problem with the logic in your poll. You are only polling the 17 people that are already supporting your game, about half of that number supported the game when mom was a former porn star. So if 1000 people tried the game and 90% of the people who might have considered supporting the game decided not to support it because mom was a playmate, you will keep the playmate storyline because 8 people in a biased sample group voted to do so. If you want a better indication of how mom's former profession is affecting your income, do the survey here rather than on your Patreon page.

There is a serious problem with the logic in your poll. You are only polling the 17 people that are already supporting your game, about half of that number supported the game when mom was a former porn star. I understand what you are saying and understood that as the case before (bigger sample size better, etc...). But I felt partial to my patrons because they are the ones who already support me with $1 at least, and I felt if I made "big changes" outside of patreon, it would make patrons feel weird that I am making decisions without them. So you run the risk of losing trust in patrons for people who may or may not support you at the end of the day. Also I am genuinely curious, are there people who will absolutely not play the game if Veronica is a "playmate" even if it is explicitly said that she wasn't a slut/sold her body but in her younger days did "riskier" modeling?

So from your poll so far, twice as many people prefer the model occupation to the playmate option. Logically, if you extrapolate that number to an unbiased group the number would be more unfavorable for the playmate option. Let's be clear, I'm not asking you to make a change in your game, I'm not even suggesting it. If I were to suggest a change and you made it, I would be obligated to support it. What I am saying is that I believe the current content hurts your game's earning potential. I definitely do not see the logic that you realize that players don't like the content choice that you have made, but you are not sure if that dislike is strong enough to keep players away. There are hundreds if not thousands of games on the site. Your game is not unique. When it comes down to a choice between your incest game and another similar incest game, do you really want to make mom's former occupation one that more than half the playing audience does not like in the hopes that they will not dislike it so much that it causes them to choose the other game?
