Good morning.

1) The mod didn't make the mistake, there is a version of the mod that is fully compatible with v0.5 General as noted in both its thread and this thread.

2) You can remove the mod from v0.5 and no harm is done (unless your particular save is at a choice screen)

I downloaded that and it still ended at 0.4

A few factors, but it mostly comes down to the sis_team score. If it's less than two she won't go with a promotion.

I fucked up my playthrough by going for an evil but loyal among the three siblings path: Choosing to protect Seth rather than fuck him over gives +5 to sis_good, and in the later stages the game mostly checks for a good score above a certain minimum rather than which is higher of good and evil, so Olivia suddenly started acting like she was good towards the end there, even though she had been almost completely evil throughout (sis_good at 5, sis_evil at 11, I think). This then meant that the code treated her as out of sympathy with her similarly evil brother.

I didn't mean "damn mod" as in a bad way. Your mod is what helped me have a better experience versus playing on my own. I appreciate your hard work very much.

I saved my game when Olivia is at the pier so not a choice option. I don't see where I can turn the mod off or remove it from the game folder. I will just wait until you have your v0.5 posted and play then. No worries.

I have the Normal 0.5version, I dont want to download the whole thing again for minor fixes.
Is there an update file for 0.5 to 0.5b?

Like the guy below you said minor fixes in dom path for sis points.

I'm not offended brother, my apologies if that post reads snarky, not my intent really (still on first cup of coffee after only a 4hr nap). Which mod file did you use, the one in the mod's OP or the one here? Thanks.

Edit, also, you can't have both mods installed, only the one linked above as they contradict.

Ideally, 3 or more.

Choosing to plan the party rather than the fashion show back in 0.4 gave you -1 to the team score where the fashion show would have given you +1, so a two point swing. With the 0.5b update, there's an opportunity to get one team point back by picking the right party for her alignment (casino for evil, masquerade for good) but you'll still have one less than on the fashion path.

One thing we can always expect is a satisfying update every single update. This is a game where the genre is normally nowhere near what I like, but I am continuously impressed by how the game is developed and showcased that I really have no choice but to fall in love with it.

I wonder how many different combination of choices we have in the game, and whether I can see them all. So far I'm only going for the Good+Veronica and Evil+Juliette paths to see the two very different end of the spectrum though both at K7 rank, but I am curious to see what the game feels like if I'm choosing more of a mixed choices between Good and Evil, and maybe even conflicting choices between MC and Olivia too while being at lower K-rank.

Truly a masterpiece of a game.

Please verify proper install as noted in the link here. I've just downloaded and it is indeed the v0.5 General script. As stated you must NOT have original mod installed inside v0.5, only the temporary updated mod. Regards.

Since 5B only changes the script, would anyone be so kind as to download the patch and upload the scripts.rpa? That should be enough to update.
I see little reason to download another 5GB for small fixes.

I have your v 0.4 mod and I am ok waiting until you get v 0.5 done. I haven't played this game since v 0.3 so I am not in that big a rush. I got plenty others to keep me busy. It doesn't take you to long to make your updates so all is good!

Is there a way to see what our current stats and alignments are with the choices we have made? Not sure if that is possible or already in the mod.

well I just edit save and set score to 2, got the promotion and hopefully the edit will not "#¤"#¤ up next update

Two elements have changed that I've noticed: Some scoring in the party planning event, and the promotion/demotion rank calculations at the end of the update.

This is the scripts.rpa file from version 0.5b. I haven't checked, but I think that's the only file that's been changed in the update. If you already have the initial 0.5 general release then replacing the scripts file in its game folder with this one should do the trick.

I downloaded that version of the mod, unzipped it with 7zip and moved both to the 'game' folder. I then deleted my old saves and started from scratch. The same thing happened, here's my save

That save continues fine. Look inside your "game" folder. If there is a "script.rpy" file delete it. The new mod only has "script.rpyc" file. That will be a tale that the old mod still exists in your game.

I second this motion. I've little bandwidth where I'm currently at (smack-dab in the middle of the National Forest). If not I'll just continue porting over v0.5 (non-b).
