The problem is that Grym Gudinna described personality is not at all like V, although, like Mav, I too am lost in speculation as to why Alessandra (if the GG is her) would help Callista at all.. .But Olivia doesn't fit the role of GG for many reasons..I wonder who the GG really is then..The second ninja (red) (the GQ on the boat) is much less problematic in this sense and in the conversation almost immediately guesses Veronica...Such an old mystery, and we are still battling over it for years and no one has complete clarity in this matter, heh.
Lol, that was literally what I listed as the 'most important evidence of all...' in my theory.

And as for the 'Good Olivia is a blank slate!' Alexander thought so too, as he dies he says to her "... So brilliant, but I worried as I taught you that you were not willing to do what was neccessary to control your fate. But only now as I look into your eyes.... *cough* ...truly only right now do I actually see you as I die..." And Olivia on the good route literally says (about Kane) "I might have to enslave him." about Kane.

Which is why I said she is a behemoth.

But yea, there are holes in the theory for sure.

For me, the biggest "hole" in that theory is that, even if Alexander spoke to Olivia on his death bed (which there is zero evidence for), he definitely did not spend time teaching her shit - let alone looking into her eyes to "evaluate" her as she developed - at least, as far as we are aware.

In regards to the burnout/consumer harassment developing I think the consumer end problems are a catalyst, but not the real problem.

I don't think Tess can get the Ballroom scene out of her mind onto the screen to her own satisfaction, and that's a real roadblock she's not admitting to the public.

I don't think Tess with her skills wouldn't be up to the task. Another thing is that in the dev diary she mentioned that in a big dinner scene there can be (if I'm not confused) a lot of beautiful clothes and more than 10 characters in a frame/scene, which can be problematic even for 4090 RTX. But problematic doesn't mean unsolvable..

Err, that's not a hole in the theory though. As far as I'm concerned, Olivia 100% has spent time with Alexander Karlsson near the end of his life. I will be utterly shocked if this is not the case.

[1] Alessandra tells Kane on SS Path "Yes. I'm probably the only daughter... well used to be... the only daughter that kind of got along with my father."

[2] Olivia starts spending time away from Kane, and when she returns to him, she takes him to a place Alexander Karlsson built, and then starts defending him in front of Kane lol

[3] Alexander Karlsson has one last request to Veronica to visit someone, and she straight up lists all the people that would refuse to see him. Surely this could only be Olivia?

Now that I think about this though.... it is interesting that Alessandra knows that Olivia had been spending time with Alexander... This makes Alessandra meeting Olivia in the early episodes and introducing her to the Karlsson Group very... odd...

I read Dover's message last night before going to bed and thought I would find this thread on fire today.

Maybe some mod has deleted all the evidence, but it's very quiet :PogChamp:.

The RTX 5090 will be available in two weeks for $1999 :HideThePain::coffee:.

No deletions. Think it's more really not sure what to make of it (or want to make things worse given we're being watched)....even less so with some recent posts in Discord.

We will just have to have different opinions for now. I think you are correct about Olivia meeting with Alexander toward the end of his life. For me, that doesn't infer time spent grooming, teaching and evaluating her. The fact that she might have made an effort to get along with him as his life was coming to an end seems more in line with a plan of Callista's. I could see Callista condoning a well trained and disciplined Olivia to spend a limited amount of time with her father in an effort to gain as much insight, information and understanding of the Karlsson Group as possible. If Alessandra got along with Alexander and learned that Olivia seemed to get along with him as well, it might be more likely for her to be the one to take Olivia under wing.

This meeting is like the meme of two people greeting each other with a kiss while holding a knife hidden behind their backs.

Alessa is super fake and smiles at everything, but I don't believe her about how loving she is towards Olivia and she's just doing it to fulfil the Gambit. I see her thinking something like "I have to bring this poor rat into our mansion, disgusting" even if she knows that Olivia is another heiress, she didn't grow up with them and comes from a background where they had almost nowhere to sleep, just remember what Olivia's dirty flat looked like before the "abduction" (when she looks in the mirror).

For her part, Olivia plays along with Alessa's game, feigning false modesty, but she already knew where she was and what was in store for her, unlike Kane, who accepts the deal with no idea of the perverse games or the Gambit.

And it was just the kind of killer argument (especially with the instant transition from the scene with the sick Alexander to the scene with Olivia) that could add at least 1 person to our "sect of Agent Olivia" witnesses, haha..At least now he's at least starting to consider it and not dismissing it out of hand.

Dominique and Allesandra are the two I can see betraying Olivia in a time of need. I agree 100% about Allesandra being fake. She makes the perfect "liaison" because she looks small and unassuming and then you find out way too late you've made a mistake in dealing with her. I added Dominique to the list after the talk about what she did to the miners that did good work. She gets off on it.

If Olivia didn't pick up those early AP points and score that bonus in their initial meeting, I wonder if that will come into play. It's not like Tess checks on Olivia's numbers with the other sisters all that often, but they are always in the background, ready to play a part. Same with the flag about if the prisoners are rich or poor.

Bro... if it turns out that the beginning was Olivia pretending to know nothing about Karlsson life and Alessandra pretending to not know that Olivia knows everything already and is just acting...
God damn lol...

I think I have a bad habit of jumping to conclusions too quickly, but I just realized why this VN is all about masks...
The whole play is a goddamn masquerade.

Well we know for sure that Alessandra is literally trying to get her sisters to kill each other lol.

Me too but I'm kind of glad it didn't pan out that way. Discussions about the masks have been way more interesting than any back and forth over Tess being upset.
You reminded me that I need to ask Tess if some of the masks in earlier episodes are simply replacing lost masks (so some characters are represented by two different masks), or if they are simply representing new characters.

I think I'll wait a few weeks to ask :HideThePain:.

This is what I wanted to write, but something prevented me (perhaps my procrastination or tired eyes from lack of sleep)...I also tend to think that Alexander communicated with Olivia in a limited way and gradually transferred to her the key knowledge about the Corporation and everything that she will need to know....

And he did it also because he put great hopes on Olivia, connected with the fact that Olivia was brought up by his lovely Callista and such a daughter (without Alexander's pronounced evil), and also stuffed with knowledge of both Callista and Alexander, will be able to roll mountains and at the same time she still has chances not to turn into a monster, as Alexander became..

So maybe Olivia is his last hope... And knowing that Alexander gave Callista strict conditions and made her promise that she would put Kane (when he grows up) in a rehab program, thus allowing Gambit to get started, this pairing of Kane and Olivia was most likely pre-approved by Alexander himself.

Yes, to him, our pairing of Kane and Olivia could have been something like Adam and Eve that could have started a new lineage, but Alexander, as the father of his daughters (albeit not the best), still gave them all equal opportunity so that the worthiest of them would win the fight (Gambit). As for Kane, well ..he's notoriously irreplaceable.. (at least as long as V keeps an eye on the state of his sperm, hehe).

I mean, he's the one who said he "taught" her, not me.

Whether he groomed her for 2 years straight and taught her everything he knew or gave a 5 minute incoherent rambling ted-talk I suppose is up for debate, but I don't think he would be saying things like she's his "strongest and best daughter" when he has daughters like Astrid and Veronica after just meeting her once or twice.

No real need. Only a couple were replaced I believe 'for others'... and the 'new' not reused for this update. Eother way Tess won't confirm which/what, already asked ;)

Relates to your third paragraph. May only relate to obsessives like myself (and JP now knowing his saves) but your DarkDom save will be impacted somewhat (if on Junko route):

In test...(I already told you of this)...Junko/Revolution path is listed first in the code (SS second, Phoebe third and Dominique last). Regardless of what other flags/points you have, you will not be forwarded to any other path off this branch (even if you qualify/have the pre-reqs). The code is in place to branch off the Celeste/Phoebe path into the Dominique scene. SecretSub does not matter as you cannot get the scene anyway due to conflict back in 6 and 7. How the code works, the first qualifying code (scene - so in this case, Junko/recolution) will always play regardless of any other variables. In this instance, you lose the Dominique scene entirely and end up back at the house when Katsumi comes to collect you. If on Junko path, this is very relevent as this Dominique scene starts the DarkDom Romance path.

I have mentioned this to Tess as to whether to nuke it earlier in 7 or 8.1 or to add in the code to progress you from Junko path to the Dominique/Claudia scene and left it with her. She told me that she was conflicted about allowing both routes to play out side by side and that's why there is no forwarding code but as I played that path (one of my faves) then it either needs the code or needs stopping earlier somehow. Not mentioned it to her since (I bring something up then leave it with her) but I imgine that should be fixed in Final. Just something to bear in mind for those on both paths.
Confirmed still the same code...still not fixed in Final A2.
