I did see that, I am not surprised to be honest. Karlsson's Gambit is one of, if not the best game on this site, just too bad about the dev and her Big ego who thinks she's better than anyone from this site, but she forgets, like most devs, if it was not for this site, most likely no one would be playing her game.

More than ego it's control. But yeah I guess that does boil down to ego. She doesn't like places where she can't control the messaging and messages that bother her really set her off. IRL this is called really bad PR and you'd get squished. Whatever. I don't pay her. There is a reason I'm very selective about who I support.

I don't think she has a problem with this site, probably just a few die-hards that think they know her game or story better than her. A big ego would be assuming that 4 or 5 people can talk for the whole site... Not sure why people get so butthurt if the dev speaks to die hards the same way die hards speak to anyone disagreeing with them.

Unlike the new snow white, whose creators just shit themselves, KG really is one of the best game on this site. But the dev's petty vindictiveness and her inability to accept criticism is not good for her.

pretty normal for artists as far as im aware..
true it isn't a great quality etc. but that's hardly a real issue as VN are for me at least are a ART and its super subjective.
if this a factory product and she focked up the process and give that attitude i'd be 100% on your side off this.

but for VNs its different its all subjective from writing to art.
you'll have diehard hater & lovers for things like using HoneySelect for creating the renders.
its hard for me to say "you have to accept the criticism and change" when its about something things like this.
Someone getting banned for their criticism isn't the way go ether but these 2 are the 2 extremes.

i'd say something like" yeah i use the word "do" a lot,i won't go back and change everything and probably won't change it for the future. i do you hope enjoy the VN as a whole have a good day".
or say "i'll look into it" and ignore it...

I'm always in favor of giving characters a chance at redemption. The only question is whether they all deserve it. Juliette will have to try hard to convince Dom Kane (Z5) that she's worthy of being his obedient and remorseful slave.

As for Juliette, she's already shown she can be somewhat docile, for an evil dom Kane at least. She'll probably pout and sulk around a good Kane in charge.

Yeah...she has shown some obedience even to the gray Dom Kane (mix of good/evil, where good pts >evil pts) which is certainly reassuring that her full taming will go smoothly.

It takes a big ego to make and maintain a game like this. I've seen plenty of these games where the quality has fallen off a cliff, as long as this game maintains its quality, tess can have as big of an ego as she wants.
My poor jules would've been perfect with a demon Kane but alas certain perverts on other sites couldn't help sending their demented fantasies to tess and fucked it up for everybody.

Didn't understand it anyway....there's worse on Steam. It does however now set a precedence going forward and possibly proactively that Steam may look into things more closely when specific countries decide to block the sale of said games.

For the record here Steam didn't care, it was three countries and due to the backlash the dev himself pulled his store page. However (again), this will cause certain authorities to look into things more closely once again (as has been done time and time before and let's not forget, one of Steams biggest markets is the US, where porn has always been a popular voter issue).

A video game which touts itself as an "incest and non-consensual sex" simulator has been banned in the UK following an LBC investigation. (about "No Mercy")

I honestly don't see what the connection here is to Karlsson's Gambit, where there is no incest or rape. Yes, sure, the sub route is effectively the way of the slave, but knowing how fashionable it's been in recent years to oppress cisgender heterosexual men, I somehow highly doubt that the Steam mods would be against dominant sadistic bitches and the sub boy Kane being abused by all those bitches. I bet the game will be skipped without question...

But in general, of course, a more duplicitous company than Steam has yet to be found. The platform that freely distributes hundreds of 2DjRPG porn games, where the female protagonist is subjected to endless rape and humiliation(non-con) trying to play morality , banning 3D AVN “No Mercy”.

Yes, yes, someone will say that 2D is neither 3D and doesn't count...But I don't think so...both 2D and 3D are fictional game universes and characters and if you have the same rules for 2D, then the same should apply for 3D AVN games. (imo)
