Well, it looks like this move from subk4 to "Dom"/SS K5 doesn't make practical sense yet. For those who want to go the SS route, it's easier to achieve it by playing a full-fledged Dom route, rather than doing perversions trying to jump out of the slave pants of K4 into the big Z league, where such a "under dom" Kane K7 will definitely not get, if only because it can't reach K10 within the final evaluation at the end of 0.8.3 (not to mention the next M+ rank).

If you reject her you will stay at K5 btw until the last evaluation (throne room) where yes you can reach K7. However, you are incorrect in your facts regarding what Kane can and will do going forward even at that rank. Key part (regardless of K9 perks) are the exec point obtained either with Kelly or Kitty in 8.2 and you can still do all the slave betting content minus your own slave).

Just think of k7 as "standard" Dom route, and k9 dom route with perks. As for endgame, nothing is totally clear. You may be right that only k9 is on the path of sole leader with others on the path of joint leader, or maybe k9 path guarantees this with an easy vote while k7 has extra steps needed to secure the same outcome. Kpass for example is still a thing.

Question for the subs even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer. Is there anyway for sub kane to learn who his father is?

To learn about his father? Not as of yet… just like how he doesn’t know/remember Veronica from his childhood unlike Dom Kane… although in part 3 Kane might learn about Veronica (if he saves nurse Reyes possibly)… supposedly Kane will get that type of moment if he does save Nurse Reyes… (but in general they’ll share a moment…

as for learn about his father… there’s been no indication but he’ll learn about it later… He’s heard the girls talk about him being Callistas boy, But Kane himself doesn’t know why that’s important since it seems to not have helped him much (when in reality it does)
But the Dekocks are making moves to contact sub Kane through Kiyomi… which we have seen through the sub previews… but also there’s Alessandras deal for sub Kane to accept or not to rat out the Dekocks… which is interesting because Cynthia is a possible Faction C leader for Sub Kane… which means there might be some power dynamics between Cynthia and the rest of the family…

Yes, I remember now, I read something about that in the WT. But it was overlaid with information from Silver (and you?) about all sorts of tricky routes SubK5 or TrueSubK5 (I may be wrong in the wording), so based on that I was sure that it was impossible to go from subK4 to DomK5 by definition, but it was possible to go from subK4 to some TrueSub5 route. As you know, I'm not interested in the sub route, so I just took this information as a given.

Well, that's pretty funny. The only question is which sub player would prefer such a subK4- domK5 transition, knowingly putting their newly minted Dom Kane at a disadvantage compared to a full-fledged Dom Kane who started his journey in JF with a K6 rank.

Yeah SS routes are going to be different that “TrubSub” routes.. TrueSub routes will happen after the gameshow and beyond which relies on where Kane place near or on k5 Mark when the gameshow finishes and or depending on the mistress Kane is serving… some can have that abilitiy to raise his rank if he does things for him and follows what they say correctly and some Mistresses will not no matter how he acts because their just… Capital B**ches lmaooo Sub Kane Kane reach k8 and above for certain things but that’s not layed out definitely yet

I remember the transition being a bit jarring imo. One day he's calling everyone Mistress this and Mistress that (even Junko), the next day he's on a first name basis and behaving like he has always been pals with them.

Also is the dialogue with Alessandra different for SS and promoted K5? I can no longer recall that

Barring a couple of throwaway lines no, it's the same and never referenced again.

Hi everyone!

Hope all had a great weekend!

I will apologize in advance for the stupidity of my update this week in that I went WAY overboard with the sub poll. I spent this week with Anais quite a bit about a lot of stuff and we ended up working on the sub poll together. We had so much fun doing it (my happiest time working on KG were Episode 5 and parts of Episode 6 when she was helping me a lot) and the combination of nostalgia and fun just carried over to a little extra work as I honestly was just enjoying hanging out with her in this specific context/workflow. We've always clicked better out of the office as I tend to have to be a bit more professional/formal and so does she but here...way more friend/peer relationship versus subordinate/boss. So I really enjoyed it.

Long story short, here is the update for the week.

1) Game Renders:

60 renders --> now just over 1,200 renders after 12 weeks so basically maintaining 100 per week ok. I didn't do as many game renders because of the sub poll which is very typical and especially this week as we did too many (sorry!) but overall, did way more than 100 renders for everything. The first five sample images are from this part of the work this week. The 60 renders were all on the sub path as that's what I am working on for likely the next 2-3 weeks or so give or take maybe one scene on dom side. (dom is a bit ahead overall right now in story renders)

Added about 10 more animations overall. I think I formally have about 21 right now but I usually don't track this too hard until I'm getting closer to the update itself being ready. (always last as most know to place in the game and usually not in the Test Version)

I did 72 sub poll renders (yeah...) so technically did 132 renders overall.

2) Sub Poll

I had already done 18 prior renders, and added another 72 (I know!) and some are still rendering because I have a few that are "screens" in a theatre and you kind of have to render the "screens" first and then place them in another render in the actual theatre room. So it's a bit more work. The entire set is going to be 92 renders in three locations 13 in spot 1, 34 in spot 2, and 44 in spot 3. I know this is overkill and I apologize but I really just had a lot of nostalgia and good vibes working with Anais like the old days so we just did a bit more this time. I admit this wasn't the best game week for work so I'll try and do more when free time gets better.

The images after the first five are samples from two of the three locations. (spots 2 and 3)

I should be able to release all images within the next day or two -- just one last big set rendering. I'm not sure if I can even do that many images in a post (92) so I may do a zip file or multiple posts worst case. I only know Patreon has a 25 option limit on polls but no clue on images so I'll find out soon enough!

3) RTX 5090

So just recently I was given the impression from two big game devs that 50 series cards were a long way away for Daz Studio support but now they just released an Alpha build that DOES support these cards. It will still take a bit of time to get it nice and ready for public release, but this changes my plans to get a second RTX 4090 system. Now I think I will wait a bit and just go with my original plan to get a nice RTX 5090 system when Daz is workable with it. I am most worried about my current plugins and other little programs that may lose support with a huge change in their code, etc. But we'll see. I'll figure it out and still have a 3090 here for emergency backup rendering. (I still have it rigged to an old AMD 5950x system)

4) Dom Poll

The poll looks like the office won! I'm looking forward to working on this set after the sub one is done! I will NOT go overboard this time even if Anais tries, heh. But I'll still try and make it a a very good set and longer than my planned 25ish as now it would seem pathetic in comparison. (But to be fair, the sub poll has some fluff shots meaning I could have skipped some to just go all out only kink content, it's a little more like game renders to me, flowing...)

5) Time to relax tonight!

I've promised her as a favor to try a game she loves right now and she's coming over to make sure I do that lol. So I'll take a little mental break tonight before sleeping and then kind of focus back on the grind again. I slept in really late this morning (I almost always wake up between 9-10am most days by habit so afternoon is late for me heh) and loved it so have a bit more energy right now!

For Dom Yes, For Sub… not to sure of an extent because it hasn’t started… although Kiyomi is meeting sub kane (on the orders of Cole) will be an interesting development and ofc there’s Alessandra’s angle… with how she wants us to rat out any developments of what the Dekocks are doing and ofc we’ve seen previews of her/and her faction with Liam… love the conflicting interests and the choices that’ll be difficult to be made..

and Dom-
Leader: Alessandra Karlsson, Kane DeKock, Olivia Karlsson, or Angelica (varies based on morality for all couples/solo possibilities - so Kane solo or female solo or couple works together jointly)

Would think whichever leader you want it’ll matter if Liam Survives or not

I find perfectly reasonable them having an "insurance" with Seth. I mean, what do they know about you? To Yvette and Astrid, Kane seems a nice guy, but do you really would trust him blindly in their position?

In addition, that's an empty menace. Even if you play the fake revolution path, it's fairly obvious they aren't people capable to order the cold-blooded murder of an innocent.
