It's an interesting scientific fact: for the most part, Callista is hated only by those players who voluntarily decided to make Kane a slave.:coffee: Everyone else either approves of Callista's actions or has taken a wait-and-see attitude, waiting for a long overdue heart-to-heart talk withwith mutual hugs, explanations and apologies.

BTW, when I wasn't banned in Tess's discord, she wrote that Callista would fight to the last man for sub Kane. So if you're a sub player, know that mommy is there to save your sub Kane's ass (unless you do everything you can to make sure that doesn't happen).
Not sure I know any sub player that’s has outwardly showed disdain for Callista… I know for a fact that She’ll go farther for sub Kane than Cole… IMG_5910.jpeg

I learned my lesson about clicking on Stan spoilers. NTY.
Miles, it's just Tess and Liv. I like Silver's jokes with V's close-ups, but that's not the case, haha.
I disapprove of what Callista has done as I value everyone’s freedom above all other things (even the survival of humanity). Had she asked Kane and planned it with him..
That's why we need this heart-to-heart talk where Kane can hear from Callista all the explanations we've been waiting for.
Yeah, that's exactly the phrase I was referring to. Although, admittedly, Callista's gonna have a hard time explaining things to sub Kane.

Perhaps, but I just don’t see an explanation that covers the reason why she couldn’t have reached out to Veronica and made a deal. Which is exactly what Astrid argued for and what is happening.. except Kane isn’t excluded from the Gambit in this case and for some reason Callista isn’t pushing for it.

It would have been one thing if Veronica and everyone else absolutely loved Alexander or despised Callista. It’s why I wasn’t fond of her being the Gambit Queen.. she has easy access to Veronica, she’s well liked beyond Elena’s initial anger and she knows just about everything that is going to happen.

Let’s say that Kane does have some kill switch or bomb inside of him. It’s obviously going to be Veronica that disables it, as she has better knowledge regarding both biology and technology.

Alexander has no leverage considering that he’s both dead and unliked. His last will and testament means nothing beyond whatever Veronica decides to enforce.

Its like a whole list of things that she's done at the same time
1. The aforementioned forced participation in the gambit
2. Faking her death
3. Refusing to tell him who his father is
4. Keeping him from one side of his family
5. not even training him to excel in the gambit.

Now one or two things I can excuse, but it keeps piling up.
Raising Kane and Olivia like bro and sis for many years and now wants them to fuck other. And you see her dialogue with veronica.. "I maximised the odds of keeping them together" lol.

As I said, she is the most overhyped so called self righteous, "I know all" aka **Dumbwit Queen**.

Ironically enough, sub kane would be most likely to accept her explanation
I think Dom Evil path may run differently and MC want to maintain newly earned power status as status quo with Evil Olivia+sub and they both will hate Callista.

A villain MC in making, will definitely angry on mom, even towards the the point of hating her. And this is already told him by callista during season 2's first scene.

Yea if at the end, Kane is evil and a dom she wouldve likely put a younger alexander at the head of the Karlsson syndicate. Not sure how she couldve handled things differently, but there had to be a better way.

Dominique is gonna be kicking herself once she realizes the gold mine she was sitting on back when she had access to Cole. Dom gives kane access to his father, probably wouldve gone a long way towards making Kane enamored with her.

Yeah callista is the most overhyped
"putting on a pedestal" character who can never be wrong about anything.

Gambit Queen lol.. More like a Dumbwit Queen..
Greater good.. Yeah fuck her.. Dumbwit Queen.
Oh elena.. Yeah fuck her too. My most hated characters in the entire game of all paths are
Elena as first and
Callista as second.

Most loving character of all paths -
All Hail Nadia. I know she is bit of a sadist, but when it comes to Decocks family, she cares so much than Callista or her so called best friend Elena.

Why can't Elena on hanging brridge conversation with Callista as something like - "Sorry Callista for humiliating your son and literally treating like a trash and furniture. But I enjoyed it very much. That scene where she put him in inside car decker and the games with VIPs particularly, made me so happy". So much for friendship with Callista.

And she is nothing better in Dom path too. She only cares about Olivia. All board members are evil ans wants to maintain slavery as status quo. I think best path is to go for evil Dom and treat all the board members as shit.

Nadia: Kill all the Karlssons.
Callista: Leave Hate, look for the future. (The so called self righteous queen while son is suffering with brutal, torchured slavery).
Nadia: Sorry, I can't be you.

Thank you Nadia not agreeing with the ~Gambit~ Dumbwit Queen.

Yea, a bit of a sadist, yea... A perfectly normal and healthy amount of sadism, but nothing over the top or anything.

In fact, this deal has been around for a long time, it's just now taken to a new level when, after listening to Astrid's words, Veronica fully disclosed their joint plans to Callista and asked for her help in exchange for help with Kane (and Olivia).

Think back to the very meeting between Callista (Gambit Queen) and Veronica in the ninja costume (season 1, where QG arrived on a small yacht). And the fact that she told Veronica that she had to make sure Kane and Seth were going to be succeed or she would never be able to open that very door. Isn't that a deal?

GQ: With the Gambit, I Know you will do what you must, but you also know my price.

V: I can likely succeed on two of them, but you Know I can't guarantee the third yet. It's more uncertain.

GQ: Just find him. You cannot unlock your final door without me. That key is beyond even you.
I assume it's Cole.

I don't think it's that simple. If Alexander's will meant nothing, then Veronica wouldn't need Callista (even setting aside the fact that she extols her as the only person who can understand her thoughts).

Do you think that opening that "final door" is nonsense and just a figure of speech? I dont think so. And if Veronica doesn't care too much about Gambit's rules, that doesn't mean she can refuse what Callista offers her in exchange for Kane and Seth being succeed. So I'm 100% sure that for all her independence, even V can't ignore Gambit completely and Callista knew where to push when she said that.

And now Callista and Veronica are in the same boat altogether, and I'm assuming they'll work as a unit and V will do whatever Callista asks.

P.S. And about the "bomb", we don't know yet how it works or who it is under remote control of. However, we do know (someone wrote about it here, referring to Yvette's dialogs) that if this enemy of Callista finds out she's alive, he can kill Kane immediately.

I have no doubt that V will pull it off, but so far we have no idea what it is or how to retrieve it. Maybe it's some kind of nano-bot hanging from a key artery leading to the brain, which on remote command could be immediately clogged or severed and "hello, Valhalla". So I wouldn't oversimplify things here either.
I am also curious about Alexander's will...

This is such a shot in the dark but maybe it has something to do with control over their AI, A.N.N.E or N.O.A.H? Though I forget what NOAH even is lol.
cass "This is A.N.N.E. and the letters for her name stand for Advanced Neural Network Entity. She is one of the most advanced artificial intelligence programs in the world."
cass "You will find her invaluable for your work, as she controls numerous functions within this facility."
If it's something that truly allows them to take control over all the other board members, then how was he even stripped of his power in the first place?

I'm surprised by a couple things:
A bit surprised he was able to get away with everything (at no point did Cole, Callista, Elena, and Yvette team up against him as he became more and more deranged?)
More than a bit surprised that he stuck some sort of bomb inside Kane (and possibly Callista) but not his own children.

Well he was the one who screwed over Astrid so Veronica threatened to pull a board coup and shut off all the collars if he didn't knock it off. Then she messed him up.
