It pretty much is. Why would Alexander be shocked that someone he thought was perfect in Callista would raise a brilliant child? If you break down the sisters, it could only be one person whose brilliance he underestimated.Actually, Olivia being the daughter at the beginning isn't far-fetched at all and I thought mostly everyone agreed on that part?

That's not even bringing up the fact that for Veronica to bring Olivia to the island to visit Alexander, she'd have to go behind Callista's back to do so since Callista wouldn't let that happen for fear of what would happen to Kane.
I'm also still waiting for somebody to tell me how Olivia's hidden brilliance would shock Alexander when, at best, Olivia met Alexander when he was dying and she would barely have time to hide it.
